DG used to post here with the old brit lot around 5-6 years ago. I dont know what his M.O was with the spamming he was doing but his a darn sight better than the lemmings we have on this board now.

Just calling people who don't agree with you 'lemmings' while sticking up for an abusive troll like DG is a cop out. There are plenty of diverse opinions on here on most subjects. Maybe you should nip off back to BoxRec and slag of this forum like you did when DG got banned (yes, I DID see those posts)?

Why would the Nevada commission allow to him to fight with flu? He'd be too messed up to fight If It was real flu.

He's saying In the daily mirror he has a chest Infection too and had to put off preparations for Lazcano, the British Boxing Board having a strict reputation will not allow him to box with a chest Infection?

 

DG livens up the British boxrec forum, one of the few there too who doesn't get over sensitive about posting a thought.

 

Thats my point Max, I've seen his posts on BoxRec and obviously he has his opinions but he stays within the forum rules. He had a couple of weeks on ESB Brit forum where he just totally took the **** and abused everyone. Theres a big difference.

 

All he has to do is pass a medical before the fight, thats not to say the chest infection hasn't affected his preparaton. He could still pass the medical on a given day.....I'm not making excuses I'm just saying its not as cut and dried as the BBBC saying "you've got a chest infection, you can't fight".

 

A boxer could fight with all sorts of problems if he wanted to. If Hatton says he is fine, the fight goes on, regardless of whether he was ill or not. They don't go out of their way to disprove what a boxer says. There are many examples, but Joe Frazier springs to mind. Look at the vast amount of medical problems he had, yet he was allowed to fight.

If he can pass their basic medicals, he is classed as fit to fight.

 

I got banned from here at the same time as DG. Apparently there were too many complaints about me. I'd been here a long time and presume it was the newer Hatton lemmings who grassed me up, all I was doing was arguing my point the same as everyone else. I can only think the Hatton newbies couldn't handle it and grassed on me. So lets not start talking about diverse opinions and all that.

Well you obviously must have gotten a little carried away with all the excitement going on around here about that time? Anyone who thinks that what was going on in here back then was acceptable really needs their head testing. There was no boxing discussion, just people trolling and insulting each other, I guess you'll just have to put your ban down to collateral damage from cleaning the place up a bit.


And before you ask, no I didn't complain about anybody, not even DG.
