and Manny fight, it is going to be Mayweather shining at the end.

I dislike Mayweather's fighting style, he never presses the action even against smaller fighters, in my eyes, is boring but he does what he does extremely well.

He hides behind those shoulders, has cat-like reflexes, ducks, racks up points 1-2 potshot at a time and that style has proven to be his key to the "W".

Manny proved me dead wrong against Cotto and I would love nothing better than to see Pac get the win against Mayweather but I dont think its going to happen.

I would'nt say never tho'....much as Floyd is supremely skilled defensively and pot-shotting....let's face it,he has yet to meet a guy with the skills set and mental fortitude such as Manny posseses..Manny may just have the perfect blend of speed, power and workrate to to snatch the 0 from Floyd's record...Judah proved that, with speed and power, you can get to him...Judah of course, gassed out and crumbled mentally in that fight..like so many fights before and after...

The first four rounds,Zab zinged Floyd with straight lefts..1-2s mostly...Manny has explosive combos...4-5-6 shots at times...and I think Manny is faster than Judah..in combos at least..and he ai'nt gonna gas out or implode like Zab...

The thing tho'...is just like the Hatton fight...Floyd proved that he's actually very strong physically....the reason Hatton's offence could'nt get going was Floyd kept clinching him and wrestling him off...pushing him back....and if Floyd decides to cramp manny's style by holding and clinching...Manny's the smaller dudue here...it could nullify everything Manny has..which is based on offense...and Floyd may pot-shot his way to victory...

I don't think Floyd can beat Manny straight up...too much speed,agression,power...his only chance is to try and tei Manny up every chance he gets...tire him up...hit him when they get loose and fall in again...he's quick enough to do it,and he's done it before.

Manny's proved himself to be a freak of nature physically....that alone, should ensure that nobody should count him out.

    very good post overall.

I think it will be a very close fight. In my mind will come down to a decision(probabyl split decision). Ive been saying Manny split decision so i'll stick with it for now.

I think Manny is too wild, he'll run into something big. But he will give Floyd problems prior to that.

If the fight is at 140-142lbs manny has a good chance at beating floyd

If its at 144-147lbs ..."its all floyd" :deal

manny has grown into a solid welter but he is faster and stronger at 140

he was strong and powerfull against cotto but too BULKED UP and
A STEP SLOWER he it also affected his head movement he got tagged aginst cotto a few times ...he took it fair enough but cotto was weak
    when he landed !!!

Floyd will be natural at 147 and was strong enough to hold hatton and oscar off and counter

Floyd is great at spoiling and conserving energy !!!!

Floyd wouldn't even risk 144 against JMM
he will come in a STRONG a 147 against Manny

You are right Zab is a bad reference. Manny has more endurance and more Power. But technically Zab is much better. His jab and straight left are thrown much better than Manny. Manny tends to jump in and reach...so far the only boxer to make him pay has been Marquez(counter puncher).

Also, everyone calls the Marquez bout a mismatch but Marquez did not make alot of mistakes for PBF to take advantage of.

Never say never. Mayweather has pressed plenty over the years. He was jumping all over N'dou, Corley, Gatti, and Judah, among others.
