Degale was class. Proved his worth. Degale will be special. Shocked at the stoppage but fair! As a smith fan this is so difficult to say, but my man smith was outdone by a future world champ. Slick fast, powerful, and active. Smith not active enough, not enough variety, and didn't have the survival instincts. As brutal a analysis you will get from the biggest smith fan going.
Smigga you are a legend, degale, you are quality and a future works champ.
    Off to cry now

Mate fair play you could of ducked head down for a while.

We should cherish this lad, he's the leader of the new school IMO. Him and Gavin are skilled technicians who are students of the likes of Sweet Pea/PBF and co.

The lad has a reason to be confident, He's a good lad he's not all there but he cares what fans think and has really shown that by way he's improved from his debut.

Not about eating humble pie it's about saying ''ok this lad's special, this sport's not a personality contest....Chunky you da man!!''. People go on like he's a woman beater and thug.......

He's a ridiculously talented lad, and I expect him to excel in the future.

I will still obviously follow smith on anything he does, but degale got an uncalled for amount of booing. I was there I heard it. Degale deserves our congratulations. Smith is a courageous fighter who didn't have enough. As a person I am hurting, but I am going to drink my weight in beer now, and contemplate smiths future and everything in general.
Dint no one call me out, as I have done as I said I would.
Btw smith should campaign at mw, and regain some speed and power

Don't think the loss will do Smith any harm in the long run. Yep, its a set back but Smith would have struggled at anything above euro class. Think Degale is a future world champ and Smith can go back to leading the domestic pack as soon as Degale moves on.
