As much as i hate to admit it PBF is a smart guy...

    He ( ALLEGEDLY!!!!) has some financial difficulty and he stll is in his prime so he decides to come back and fight the number 2 P4P guy who just so happened to give the current P4P guy 2 of his toughest fights.But he is also making JMM come up in weight which gives him the size advantage.Now if PBF beats JMM which he should the odds are in his favor ( but you never now) he then sets up what will probably be the biggest PPV ever because the little wise ass knows how to sell,he loves that wrestling crap and knows how to market himself as a heel.So if everything goes according to plan we will see PBF vs PAC and it will beat out the ODH record then i wouldnt be suprised if you seem him fight Shane because father time is working on Shane as we speak and PBF knows that to.....The one thing i doubt we will ever see is PBF against P.Williams, i truly beleive he wants no part of him. ...Peace,Ted:rasta

    When they say something like Shane said its always an indication of not only about the money but to me how much of a threat the guy would be to them.I think if they marketed Williams as a 6'2" welterwight monster it would sell to the non purists immeditely,plus they can use the different weight classes he competes in as promotional tool as well.....I just think the top welters are going to avoid Paul as much as they can till its no longer acceptable...His people and him have said he can still make welter with no problem they said he walks around at 154...

    williams has said he'd fight anywhere from 147-168 so I don't think he's done a sa WW. Furthermore I think Mosley was referring to the risk in facing this man as well as a $$. Lastly, although PBF is a as good as anyone a figuring out a guy----PW would be a very tough one for him. Also, remember PW is only now hitting his full stride, what this guy could be in another year and 3 fights is scary. I actually think clottey would fare best against him at WW, as his is big/strong and skilled...but he gasses and williams sets a torrid pace.

    I really hoped PBF would go for the WW title when he came back, but I figured he wouldn't. JMM and Pac fights would be cool wit me if he'd do em at JWW. Too late for JMM, but we'll see about Pac.

    Why the hell should Floyd go down to 140? He fought De La Hoya at 154 and Hatton at 147. Marquez is the one who called him out. If Floyd beat Wlad then people would make excuses as to the reason why. He will beat Marquez, then beat Pacquiao and that's the bottom line.

    How do you know he has financial difficulty? I find this pretty much a rumor and nothing more. People jumped at him owing the IRS money but it was like 7 million which is not much for Floyd and when a rich person owes it does not mean they don't have the money to pay. I think it's a real reach to say he needs money!
