Now if you look at this from a scientific stand point you will notice. 50% Protein 30% Carbs 20% Fat Above shows the statics of every fit athlete . Protein recovers muscle within 3 days, your suppose to consume 1 gram of protein per pound, but only about 25g of protein is used per hour normally. Carbohydrates are your primary source of energy, enough of it will help you push through vigorous workouts. Now his vigorous workouts are 90% cardio. When you have your metabolic rate raising so high your body tends to process stuff a lot faster than normal maybe 2x faster. This means his protein will recover his muscles faster. His carbs will help him work out for hours and because he burns 7500 out of 8,000 calories he will have 500 left over making his size bigger. Before you say no no no no steroids just try it yourself go through a bulking phase and you'll notice that the left over calories will go to your muscle making you bigger, but if you're not working hard enough left over calories goes straight to your stomach. Btw left over carbs will make you bigger as well. Almost forgot to mention, dont forget these guys get re-hydrated before fights. why is mannys metabolism so high burning 7500 calories? i thought cardio didnt effect metabolism. or is it just the amount of cardio making him burn 7500 calories
when i was in the academy, i use to eat whatever i want. breakfast, scramble eggs with french fried and sausage. for lunch a medium supreme pizza with everything on it from pizza hut and i didnt gain one pound. its crazy how much shite u could eat and not gain any weight.
one pizza is ok, i read somewhere the slice contains about a min 300 cal on a thick crust. What could get you fat is those large pizzas with big slices or the "18 pizzas
I'm 20 and the past 6-7 years I have barely gained more than 5 pds(May hover around 130 now). I wolf food down and barely exercise too. Stamina is not at my best for that but I could easily get in shape to fight 6 rds within a week or two which is considerably above average, I think. Weird lol.
I've tried implementing his ab workout in my routine, and all I can say is.. Pacquiao must love the pain, and thrive of the pain. Because they hurt like a SOB.
