I see what you're saying, but I can't rate a guy who's past prime higher than a guy at his peak. Loma and Crawford are fighting at a higher level than Golovkin right now. Yea I was there to see Curtis Stevens outballs jump 3 inches out of his skull and then I saw GGG proceed to launch about 18,000 power punches in the last round. Saw all that on my TV. But that was in 2013 and it will be 2018 in a few weeks.

I think if Garcia can pick up a world title at 140lb in his next fight or two then we are looking at a 4 weight world champion who is maybe 38/39 and 0 with 30+ stoppages and that has to throw in right in there.

But you're right, not active enough right now but I don't think it will be long.

Lomachenko is number 1 based off resume.. Their skills are pretty equal.

I was just about to point out some fighters that were historically ranked as P4P that did indeed drag opposition up a class but enough said already

Bud hasn't lost and Loma didn't gain revenge on Salido after Salido beat him. And now Salido is retired. Loma can't be ranked #1 pfp. Sorry

Here's my thing. Salido beats Loma. So you're telling me that the next few fighters that Loma's beaten are enough to rank him not only pfp, but pfp best? AND..having never rematched Salido? Really!!!??? Foh lol.

Duran had already upset Leonard in the first fight and then is career continued on. But he did get a lot of beef. Only time healed is reputation. Also at the times are different, many did not like Leonard ring size caprice, is excesive moving around and out of exchanges and most of all his bolo punches and slaps.

Rigo as to make himself forgiven. Another exemple is Vitaly, after Byrd he was a pariah. After Lewis it was all forgiven and even forgotten

I’m going to give the edge, every so slightly , to Lomo based on his resume in such a short FKN time.
Skill-set is dead even for me as Bud might actually be one step above Lomo based on pure KO power.

Both have admirable footwork, speed, trap setting skills and overall that “DO OR DIE” mentality
The ring IQ for both is very special and I love it when Bud jumps into the southpaw stance

I mean, he can get there...but he would need to considerably outpace Crawford to do that being the only man between them with an L (one that, as you point out, he can no longer avenge) - I don't know that you can say his W column even is demonstrably more special than Crawford's, let alone enough so to cover the gap.

If Rigo took a beating by a boxer two weight classes above him and had to retire, I'd hate to see him go out like that. Quitting now, and lets say moving up to 126lbs may be a way to win over his fans again, I think he can make that step up, 2 was too much(against the P4P number 1/2 boxer in the world, this was no ordinary task).

Having a loss meant nothing for the vast majority of boxing history. It was actually a rite of passage. Boxing is an old sport. Maybe even the oldest in the world. But only in the last 10 years or so has being undefeated been the end all be all.

Has Floyd Mayweather mind ****ed you all this badly?

Dude, you can play the "Floyd Mayweather" card all you want; you're speaking with rational adults here, not a bunch of illiterate Floyd joy boys. You aren't going to gaslight everyone into believing that having an L isn't worse than not having one.
