You don't think you're making me look like one?

    :D

So your answer as to who Hamsho beat that was better than Briscoe is Czyz (That's the correct spelling, and you call me a stupid "c"? LOL) Minter and Bobby Watts, correct??? Your wording also implies all of these guys beat Briscoe head to head, right?

Who said anything about resumes? What are you talking about? Don't be afraid of a few caps and some punctuation either.

Do you think resumes and resumes alone win fights? Actually no need to answer that, you've already shown your hand, numerous times.

Minters a damn decent fighter, i never said other. He and Hamsho are fine fighters. At least i can give a semblance of credit where deserved.

    Minter beat Czyz?

You're talking resumes again, i'm talking an actual fight. You did however confirm you favour all three to beat Briscoe. I can sure see Hamsho struggling in this one, easy as hell to hit and no KO punch. I'd have my own money om Briscoe.

The original argument was your lame knowledge of Hearns. You've since proven such knowledge is anything but restricted to Hearns. Kudo's on that one.

Hagler would usually sit somewhere between 25 and 50 on most lists i'd say. It's hard for a fighter who only ever competed in one division (Non heavyweight) to break top 20, no matter how great. There's just so many great fighters to compete against. It's sure no disgrace being 25-50.

Bert Sugar haha. A guy that doesnt even rank lennox lewis and michael spinks, yet has marcel mr padded record cerdan at #24, above pernell whitaker? At least ring magazines list is decent, alot better than either of thier lists.

Yeah, but where was the Superstar in the making, Mustafa Hamsho!!!

Aaron Pryor at 35 shows the Ring list to contain some seriously crap selections. What a rating this is :nut

Thier list may have its own flaws, no list will ever be perfect. But i say they did a much better job than sugar and espn.

    Finally, some common sense!!!!

Overall i'd agree, but Pryor's rank shows some gross imperfections are evident.

    Wel that's a wee bit different to 35 isn't it. 50 - 75 would be fair i guess.

I have curry in my top 15. You can't just let that one sided beating to lloyd honeygan slip. Luis Rogriguez proved he could beat a great 147lber emile griffith, while curry never beat a great fighter.

I get ya. In any case I think, on the night they faced Whitaker, both Nelson and Chavez would have been able to beat quite a fight lightweights and welterweights, but since they didn't get to face any other lighterights and welters whilst in the shape they were against Pea, we will never know for sure....

Why are people comparing how Oscar and Floyd would have done with each other's opposition? Oscar's a bigger guy, he SHOULD do better.

Oscar fought just two times @ 130 lbs. Floyd spent the first 5 years of his pro career @ 130 and established himself as one of the top jr. lightweights champs of all-time. 5 years into Oscar's career, he was already a welterweight, and sure as hell didn't seem to be a small welter at that. At age 25, Oscar was a welterweight weighing 161 on fight night, and at age 26 was complaining about having trouble making 147. By 28, Oscar had left the welterweight division. By comparison, at 25-26, Floyd was a lightweight weighing less than 140 on fight night, and at 28, filling out into 140 (he looked solid and filled out against Gatti).
