My point was simple. This isn't a big deal. Eurosport shows low-level fighting from all across Europe all the time. The example I gave was a kickboxing card they showed today. You calling M-1 being shown on the channel a significant deal just shows how ****ing clueless you are.

 

And so has Montenegro's Super Kombat World Grand Prix.

Actually M-1 is still on the level of Italy's Yokkao Extreme K1 Muay Thai as this is obviously prerecorded whereas Montenegro's Super Kombat WGP was shown live. But if M-1 continue to work hard then I'm sure they'll get there eventually.

Hilariously on the EPG its billed as MMA Strikeforce. How's that for increased brand profile!

 

First off i don't know what Stoo's profession is and nor do i care. Also Stoo doesn't belabour points the way you do like a rancorous spurned female. IIRC PRIDE also had a few repeats on Eurosport a few times. Are you going to make the same disingenuous comparison with their stint on Eurosport too? Fact is this is a big deal for M-1. Deal with it.

 

No its not. If Eurosport was committing to showing a series of M-1 Global shows live, promoting said shows heavily and paying good money for them then it would be significant. But showing highlights of a show that happened four months ago with no advance publicity is not significant. I don't know how much Eurosport you watch but they're always showing fights from around the world, usually on a delay. Its not significant for those promotions (some of which are quite obscure), its not significant for Eurosport and its not significant for M-1.

 

Yeah i noticed... Like i said i happened to see a PRIDE show on it once back in the day too...PRIDE was pretty obscure by all accounts....Oh wait...

Whatever dude. Yes it is very significant. I'm sure M-1 is on the verge of building the same mass European fanbase and run the same hugely successful events that both Pride and K-1 did in Europe on the back of having their events repeated on Eurosport.
