He was the clear better superior fighter. he won 4 or 5 rounds straight. The levels were shown as soon as he let his hands go.

Over the course of the 12 rounds, Lopez showed that he was the better fighter.

Go and watch 12th round again. Now imagine that this round is not the number 12, but the number 1. There you have your answer. There is a reason why lomo started fighting in round 8. Had he started much earlier he would have ended taking a nap on the canvas.

    Forza that you?

I followed Loma through the amateurs as much as humanly possible. I followed his career and loved everything about him. He lost to Lopez. FULL STOP.

Not sure why he had his lowest punch output ever over those first five rounds but going toe to toe with Teo early would not have worked. One loss doesn’t mean much as after his first pro loss he bounced back great against GRJ.

His next fight will be the telling one...

I think there was a slight miscalculation on Loma's part. Thinking he could take TL into deep waters. Perhaps that's why he didn't start throwing earlier to conserve his own energy? Either way, Lopez showed true grit, ring IQ and skill. I want to see how a rematch would go. Can Loma redeem himself or did we see the changing of the guard?

Loma was'nt in this fight the first 6 rounds, Lopez was bigger, stronger, faster, and Loma quite simply was being hurt by Lopez' punches.
That simple, Loma was willing to pull the trigger because Lopez' punches were hurting him. Loma was'nt willing to risk it vs a fresh Lopez who was fast and sharp.
With Loma doing just about zero the first 6 rounds he was able to conserve some energy to where he decided that he would risk himself against a Lopez who had worked way more then he.
Rounds 8, 9, and 10 are the rounds I gave Loma where he outworked Lopez, but then Lopez got a second wind and won round 11, and just took to and dominated Loma in the final round.
Easy fight to score, all of the judges had it wide for Lopez, I had it 117-111 for Lopez, not a hard fight to score at all.

Loma miscalculated allright, miscalculated Lopez' skill and ability.
Lopez is definitely skilled and he's to big and strong for Loma who imo has been somewhat overrated all along.
Loma is a good fighter dont get me wrong, but people talked about him as if he were on the level of ATG's, which imo he never has been.

That's just what they want you to think bro if you watch it in slow motion, while doing back flips, yodelling and juggling on a unicycle, you'll see a close but clear win for Lomachenko.

Or at least, that's what these clowns would have you believe.

dang it, if i wasnt too old to do the backflips, i could keep my correct prediction streak going, since i picked loma to win.

On the flip side, as soon as the fight started ... Lopez happened! Fan boys judging fights on selective rounds now, not the entire fight?
