As the fight approaches, let us again discuss why I narrowly think Usyk beats Joshua

AJ should've just been more aggressive, walked Usyk down, and let the power punches fly. I mean it's not like the supremely talented and skilled master boxer Usyk who has been fighting at the elite level for over 15 years amateur and pro, fought tons of legit punchers and KO artists and has never been noticeably hurt with a head shot, let alone dropped or stopped and who is very hard to hit clean with flush power shots would have an answer for that or anything or that this lighter trimmed down quicker version of AJ was already having enough difficulty landing clean as it was even with the shots he'd taken some of the power off to try and gain himself a foothold in the fight

It's not like that ''average southpaw'' Usyk possesses the talent and skill to walk him into big counters that he wouldn't see coming and therefore be more damaging or make him miss and look like a big musclebound cumbersome oaf on the back foot. No Usyk can only do that when he's standing right in front of him


It's not like AJ would've gassed or anything and been a sitting target for Usyk and run the risk of getting taken out in the second half of the fight had he been loading up and swinging and missing

It's not like AJ was the only one who was hurt in the fight and the only one who was in danger of getting stopped or anything. I'd been lead to believe that speed kills and skills pay the bills but evidently those rules don't apply to certain types of fighter

And it's not like Usyk literally had everything against him here and still managed to outclass him in his backyard or anything
