Jabbing agaisnt a lefty is a difficult task for an orthodox fighter. The two best punches agianst a lefty for an orthodox fighter is the straight right and the left hook. Kessler does not throw a good left hook and he sets up everything off the jab. Because of this, I believe he will have trouble with southpaws.

Have you actually watched any fights of his before Hopkins?

    ^ Candycoat?
    LOL, he just stated facts.
Kessler's resume is nowhere near as good as Clinton Woods and you see what happened to him against Tarver.
Woods has fought Glen Johnson (3 times), Roy Jones, and Traver.

Kessler has fought no top A fighters. He and Calzaghe are just the same. Two sheltered and hyped fighters who were afraid to fight out of their comfort zones.

Comparing Hopkins quals to Calzaghe or Kessler is a joke. Neither have anywhere near an encounter with a Roy Jones or Trinidad level fighter on their resume. Only B level. It's a joke in poor taste.

Eubanks was well past his prime ...

Kessler hasn't done anything to help his case ... his career as of now is in limbo ... the guys that Hopkins defeated were already accomplished and had paid their dues ... you can't wait on guys to build themselves back up again ... you being their stiffest test and them not doing anything after that says nothing about your victory.

Reid can't handle Taylor ... in or out of his prime ... this guy has never been that good.

No one on Calzaghe's resume beat Winky Wright ...

You still had ****ing Bika and Manfredo on the list ahead of him, not only is it disrespectful to Eubank but it also completely undermines your point. No Robin Reid either, if you knew anything you'd know he gave Calzaghe his toughest fight bar none. You just look to have little knowledge of the matter at hand, namely Joe's resume

If you are going to **** on Calzaghe's resume at least **** on the right ****ing names. You won't look such an ignorant **** that way.

thats why they stay in the uk, but to be the real deal in boxing you have to beat the best from the us.

not 1000 fight in the uk and go unbeaten, cause soon as you have 5 fight in the us against top fighters you will lose 2 or 3 of the 5 i think.

you know winky has 50 something wins cause he fought out the country alot.**** imgaine roy or hopkins only in the uk they would be 100 - 0 easily

    Yeah ...

Chris Eubank ... was well past his prime ... and he was 10 yrs older than Calzaghe who was on the rise ... and his best days were past him ... they were fighting for a vacant belt.

I seen the whole fight, not live but I seen the fight ... it wasn't impressive because it wasn't the same Chris Eubanks that fought Nigel Benn.
