...David Price claims injury against McDermott, and Deontay Wilder is scheduled to fight yet another unemployed teamster.

Pajkik was the Canadian champ and had proved himself in two fights with fellow prospect Keisla in a fashion very similar to Fury himself beating Chisora.

Pajkik, Chisora, McDermott- good tests for a guy who has had less than 50 combined amatuer and professional fights. And yet Fury, all of 23 years old, has to listen to this crap about having no heart, no power, no chin, and stamina while the other "prospects" continue to embarass themselves by fighting cab drivers. One almost knocked Wilder out, by the way.

Get ready for the Fury hate. Yes he looked awful against a journey man like opponent. But you have to question Chris John his new trainer. If I was Hennessey then I would have a good word with Fury about whether he wants to take boxing seriously or not because his condition is atrocious. And he needs Manny Steward in his corner ASAP, or at least his uncle. At least with his uncle he won in a good performance against Chisora.

Thats just the point- this was not a journeyman. This was a fellow undefeated guy who had twice beaten another promising prospect. They can hate Fury all they want- he rolls on while the other "prospects" do nothing.

Thanks god there is a guy out there who actually fights.

Fury is great for heavyweight boxing. He is clever enough to stay out of the Ks, they would murder him just like anyone else but after they retire, the division will be very exiting.

Fury is in the mix along with guys like Helenius and Wach to become a belt holder.

    good post and well put.

pajkic is a tough guy and fury knocked him out in 3 rounds. considering fury looked awful from start to finsih thats not a bad result.

they have a saying in the premier league. the team that can win when they are playing badly are usually the team that will win the league. well fury looked completely out of sorts tonight, and he beat a tough hard fighter.

a year ago when fury struggled against mcdermott, everyone wrote him off as a bum, then he went on to beat chisora convincingly...... im not gna write him off after last night. it would be stupid to do so.

For a guy with no power, he has sure stopped a couple of good chins in McDermott and Pajkic.

For a guy with no chin, he has taken some shots off decent punching guys like McDermott and Chisora.

Fury is a rarity- a guy who has earned his rating. Haters gonna hate.

It seems as though Pajkik and Fritha have way underrated punching power.

Considering his age, number of pro fights and lack of amateur experience, Fury has been in with very good opposition.

Compare his recent opponents to those of age 26 Deontay Wilder.

At age 23, Fury has plenty of time to improve.
