    *PAUL WILLIAMS*

Theres all this talk about Martinez ''and then he will be a top 10 ATG'' (?!) - who PW just beat!?! How do you fight someone whom has just been beaten by someone from your own division - whom is constantly calling you out?!

    I'm, sorry, i'm a realist.

If he wants ATG accolades then it has to fight the smaller 7 weight - FIGHTER OF THE [SAME] DECADE - who is good to go. I mean, doesnt this make sense, to be the best ALL TIME, you have to at least beat your contemporaries?! Pac and PW is an absolute must, in whatever order.

I'm willing to bet either doesnt happen.

I agree that both those fights would seem more meaningful to me.

However, if he was to go up and capture a title at 160, I think history books will look on that very kindly.

...accolade wise, yes. But we will know he did that to avoid the harder fights in and around his division.

I feel that Martinez's stock is artificially high atm - and has allready been beat by one of the other two. It makes no sense financially and legacy wise - at least to someone with two operational brain cells.

Yes, and I think he will still be the favorite.

The problem is that a little risk is not what Mayweather wants.. he wants close to ZERO risk. So he will most likely wait a couple of years and hope Martinez still has the title. Then he will enter negotiations and drag them out for another 12 months. Now Martinez will be old and inactive.. just what Floyd wants.

  7. I think Floyd would beat Williams more easily than he would Martinez.

Really disagree. I think the only two things that beat Floyd (and this is a huge complement) are workrate combined with reach. Ala, PW.

I agree. Some of the posters here are stupid to say Floyd can beat Williams.

Williams was waiting for Floyd to call him out but I don't think he will do that. He's ducking him for the longest time.
