100 percent true. Boxing fans overreact to just about anything. Somebody is beaten, they're a bum. Guy who wins a big fight is the GOAT.

CLENelo has always been somewhat overrated

    Let's not pretend he wasn’t

All RJJ had to do was select, carefully, smaller heavies in the top 10, maybe 2-3 of them, retire, GOAT status

Poor management and team members to even allow him back to 175, I was screaming for him to stay at HW at the time he beat Ruiz

Hindsight is always 20/20. Were you calling him “overrated “ when he stopped Kovalev?

I should have said he'd have losses to many of them rather than all of them. He'd be competitive but not always dominant.

Good win in a fight he was losing in many people’s eyes, still overrated though

Many felt he lost to Lara and GGG, possibly twice, then got pasted by Bivol and just lost to Crawford, a man coming up multiple divisions

And the boxing lesson Floyd gave him

Yes. The circumstances of that fight were complete BS. No top pro fighter takes a fight 6 weeks after their last one. Canelo has been very selective about who he faced and when he faced them, last night it backfired.

    This is true.

And what he achieved last night was tremendous.

But I have him p4p behind Roy, Floyd and Pac, over the last 30 years.

Going back further, I have him behind all of the fab 4.

But he probably makes my top ten of the past half century.

And right now, he's number 1.

Facts, he got Kovalev in there on short notice.
