I was at work while this fight happened, probably was more entertaining than the actual fight

I'm all for calling it like it is and clearly the commentators are doing what they need to do to keep their jobs. I can't be mad at that. It doesn't make or break me. But I do find it hilarious when people make this argument and then try to match their extreme bias with a bias or at the very least, less than realistic view themselves.

To say AH "clearly" won at least 4 rounds is laughable. I can probably argue 3 rounds that I feel he won....but CLEARLY at least 4......The fight was never that close, even with Shakur being not as aggressive as I would have liked him to be.

We saw Shakur go 12 rounds and never looked winded, in trouble, backing up, and was holding full conversations in the corner with his trainer late in the fight without having to take deep breathes.......All of these "ghost punches" to his mid section that some on this site are claiming to have landed that AH wasn't getting credit for............ Well, if that's the case, then y'all should praise Shakur for his strength and sturdiness. Because he was definitely not effected. Normally if decent and clean shots are landing to the body, the fighter slows down, is less aggressive, makes adjustments, etc...... We saw none of that from Shakur. He actually threw more punches in the second half of the fight than he did in the first half. He was never on his back foot even though he is the counter puncher.

Just saying, it's hard for a person to take anyone serious when they go through the extreme to make a point. AH, did what it could to survive 12 rounds vs a guy he knows he wasn't going to be able to outbox. He mentioned repeatedly that he was going to have to get out his running shoes. That wasn't the English language struggles. He said it repeatedly suggesting that he was going to have to move around from Shakur. Even said it again to Shakur earlier in the day apparently according to Shakur. It takes 2 to tangle.

What we saw between Davis and his opponent was 2 individuals trying to get each other out of there. Shakur didn't have such a partner and you can't knock Shakur for not sprinting after an individual who isn't trying to engage in the middle of the ring. Hell, y'all showed more love to De La Santos for not stopping Shakur with one hand and he lost. The double standard is comical.

Yeah, it's infuriating. Like I said, at least attempt to be fair to both fighters and call what's actually happening in the ring not what you want to happen and want to convince your viewers is happening

It's not remotely laughable. He did clearly win at least 4 rounds. Shakur did nothing in the first 3 rounds FFS. Just because the commentators were ignoring AH's good work and glazing Shakur doesn't mean Shakur won rounds he didn't. I didn't make the argument he won the fight or deserved a draw. I said he deserved at least 4 rounds.

    I haven't even criticized Shakur

I love how Shakur is completely tanking his marketability before going solo.

I read the rbr for Robson-Foster this morning without having seen it, and thought you guys were losing it, but yes, that was hilarious  Hearts broke in that commentary.

    Round 8 - 10-9 Conceicao
    Round 9 - 10-9 Foster

    Round 12 - 10-9 Foster

    116-112 Foster

This was more competitive than what Mark Kriegel and Tim Bradley had it, but Foster should have gotten the nod, he fought better no question about it. However it wasn't such a major robbery as the media is trying to portray it. Foster could cry all he wants about this loss, but he did really think based on such a passive performance he wasn't gonna get robbed? He will never be someone who promoters will go out of their way to defend and try to shield from losses, in fact it's the opposite with him. Against Hernandez he was on the verge of getting robbed, in the Nova fight the scores were closer than they should have been. This was the second consecutive time he faced a long time Top Rank fighter. The idea from the get go was that he was only signed, so that a Top Rank fighter can take away the title from him. And that's what happened tonight. Conceicao should have already have won the belt against Valdez, but two wrongs don't make a right.

I like watching pure boxers, but even I'm tired of Shakur. His marketability is flushing down the toilet, and the worst part is he has some very similar tools to Crawford and his defense on the front foot is very good, but at his core he's a coward, that's why he fights the way he does

Watch some Jaron Boots Ennis !!
