Jahi listed at 5'11" - so Ysrael has got to be practically five nothing.

 

10-9 Tucker, had Barboza hurt in the last minute but couldn't penetrate the short & compact opponent's tightened-up high guard thereafter.

 

JJT only eighteen years old, this his fourth pro bout - lots of kinks to iron. Giving up that height leaping straight in with lead hooks, yikes, that's gotta be curbed. Won't have to pay for it at this level most likely (Barboza is, aside from being a foot shorter here, 3-1-1 and has never beaten anybody with a win on their record) but can't get away with that as he continues to step up.

 

To his credit YB is doing what the underdog is supposed to in order to be position oneself to spring the upset - keep grinding inside, not getting discouraged by all the stylistic and physical attribute disadvantages, keeping as responsible a defense as he can and lumping in stiff body shots when possible.
