Pedraza is doing a good job living up to his nickname, squatting inside with deep knee bends and dropping single jabs or quick two-piece combos on the body and then yo-yoing out to reset before Rodríguez can give a receipt. Lots of waiting and posing by Rodríguez, sometimes chasing Pedraza outside with a couple of straights lobbed peremptorily, warning shots. Precious little happened this frame.

Rodríguez is stepping in and jabbing with Pedraza now, causing him to bobble his neck to either side to slip to avoid the inevitable cross that Rodríguez is waiting to slot in. Rodríguez has a little swelling and redness around his right eye, probably from Pedraza tattooing with jabs at different levels, constantly moving into a crouch and then straightening while circling at mid-range.

Pedraza is certainly the more well-known commodity with far more televised appearances, but most conventional fight business logic would suggest the undefeated bigger younger guy with the KO artist record is supposed to beat the veteran with the shrinking upside.
