For those wondering, Elvis Rodriguez and Top Rank have parted ways. Guess they saw things with that loss that even we didn't see...or they finally saw what the rest of us did.

3rd was the only clear round of the fight so far. Rodríguez has taken his foot off the gas and is just letting Pedraza...well, snipe him effectively.

You could also have it 29-28 either way, but I've got a sweep for the boricua. Let's see if Julian has any hidden wrinkles up his sleeve.

29-28 Pedraza. Rodriguez looked bothered by a couple of shots in that round.

@Serge was spot on about Pedraza being a dangerous puncher in his own right - I forgot his stoppage rate was a mere 41.94%, but he's that Lee Selby, Hozumi Hasegawa type where it's like...no, trust me, ignore his reocrd, he can freaking bang.

If anyone gets knocked out tonight it feels right now like it'll likelier be Rodríguez. He reacted badly to a 1-2 flush on the gob early in the 4th. Triple-blinked.

So not only did Rodríguez fail to make the originally contracted weight, but he rehydrated more than 15lbs, did I hear that correctly?
