If not for the whole weight fiasco, I would have rated this win very highly if Shakur dominated like he did against Valdez.. But now this feels weird since Robson is big for 130 also. So it feels as if Shakur purposely let him struggle to get those pounds off and had him wait an hour to weigh in while he played ping pong with no intention on dropping the 2 pounds..

The Valdes-Robson decision was terrible. But if you’re gonna try to tell me with a straight face Valdes won upwards of FOUR rds against Shakur we can’t have an unemotional conversation here. Look I know Shakur is boring. But that fight wasn’t even close. None of his fights are close. I think Robson can make things tougher on him. But not tougher where the fight can actually be close. It’s gonna take an exceptional fighter to beat Stevenson. Someone awkward or very powerful. Conceiceo is neither.

 

I know he moving up but he also knew he was better off keeping that extra pound in place.
This has the potential to turn into a barn burner however I still see Shakur getting the WIN

That was a closer round. Carrington has a very nice uppercut, but also very poor defense. He needs to work on not getting timed so much.

6-0, his best round by far was the fourth, where he looked world class with a legitimately genius left hand. Otherwise he looked okay, except for the third, where he looked bad.
