How will Shakur do at 135? He dominated the fight in a way but also got hit quite a bit. I see him in the same boat as Garcia, they are fast but could lose against a guy with good timing.

 

I'm satisfied with Stevenson's effort. Conceição was too tough and too dogged a spoiler for Shakur to really hurt him and force a stoppage with the limited pop at his disposal, but he took the initiative, went for it and won clearly enough for me.

Stevenson adopted a more American style (more typical of him) later in the fight, he was winning rounds about as easily, so it really just shows versatility. I think based on the first couple rounds, here, though, that Haney would be able to keep him away and take potshots to win a majority of the early rounds.

judging by the commentators, crowd, and pretend compubox numbers I expect Shakur 12-0 on the cards.

I thought more of Shakur, he really had no answer and was outboxed for long periods. Robson is slippery and awkward, but Shakur had no creativity or combinations to make anything happen. He landed some nice uppercuts but he doesn’t have any power, he needs to disguise instead of throwing one at a time. I thought he would be a good match up for Lomachenko, I don’t see that being competitive anymore after watching this.

That was Shakur's best fight ever to me because it showed sides of him that people didn't know he had and looked good doing it.

 

Shakur boxes circles around garcia I mean he clowns him. Garcia better try and fight Haney and stay far far away from Shakur

 

Good performance from Shakur but not impressive.

Loma has nothing to worry about.

Stevenson drops off everybody's PFP list after this performance against a mediocre boxer who had no ability to change strategy. Not a lot of power although maybe the weight drain affected him.
A well schooled boxer but with some issues a smart fighter could use to his advantage.

Add in the mouth breathing, grunting, low blows and takedowns and you have someone you can dislike. He does do some good charity work in his community though.
