I had it 8-4 or 9-3 for Stevenson. Much more competitive fight compared to Shakur’s previous opponents but still an overall good performance. Conceicao did well early, got discouraged after the knock down which led to Shakur taking complete control while Conceicao became more sloppy but still fought hard later on. Shakur got tagged more often this time around, and it did seem like Shakur was getting frustrated at times with the spoiler tactics from Conceicao as evident with the push down, and it looked like he was hitting low a bit too often. Stevenson still showing that he’s not that great of a finisher but he gets the job done.

Overall a surprisingly entertaining and also rough fight. Still unprofessional of him to miss weight but I appreciate the fact that he apologized and owned up to it. He’s definitely ready to make for 135.

Great performance by Stevenson. If Lomachenko was the guy a few years back fighting him, I would back the Ukranian all day, but the fight will be very close now and I am intrigued to see how he looks in his comeback fight.

It's a shame that Stevenson hasn't fought the second best super-featherweight contender in Joe Cordina, who is skilled and powerful.

Watch the fight again without the emotion and the dickriding commentary, you’ll see that Robson outboxed him for large parts of the fight. I rate Robson and I expected it to be a close fight, I’m a bit disappointed in both tbh. I remember seeing Robson hug and flop all over the ground back when he fought Lomachenko, he did a bit of that in this fight. His stamina has always been suspect. I thought Shakur had developed far beyond where he was at, I was very impressed with his performance against Valdez but he looked lackluster and lost against Robson. He couldn’t adapt and when he landed his best punches he just admired his work instead of going to work. Then all the low blows and grunting, one punch at a time etc.
he showed he has low boxing iq.

That was the best of Shakur? You’re impressed that he didn’t run when he was facing a light puncher, after he didn’t even make weight? He showed he can get punched repeatedly and often outboxed by a light puncher? I never dreamed that Conceicao could hurt Shakur, and it sure looked like he did in one of the later rounds.
He showed that he can throw low blows and complain constantly while grunting like a female tennis player. He absolutely can’t bang, he landed his best shots and admired them, as they had absolutely zero effect on Conceicao (of course Ward was talking about how he was really hurt, and that Stevenson could finish him). The commentators were pretending as if Shakur was in danger of stopping him, or could stop him. That is some of the most ridiculous and delusional commentary I’ve ever seen. They were talking about domination in a 50/50 fight, when Robson was getting the better of it when he wasn’t gassed.
Shakur gave notice that he’s unprofessional and that nobody at 135 has anything to worry about.

He was discouraged after Shakur landed a glancing blow to his chest that was incorrectly ruled a knockdown?

Loma himself said that in sparring Shakur was the only guy to give him some problems. And that was a few years back I believe.

Everything you said is superficial to what my statement was all about. You way off base.

Because his best wins are over a ****ing scrub like Valdez and Conceicao, who's best "win" is the one he was robbed of over Valdez perhaps?
