    Davis drops him with a straight right, he makes it back up, he flurries, Tienda rolling with some of them, occasionally getting tagged with left hooks, ref leaps in way too quickly.

    This was a B+ performance by Davis overall, punctuated by an A+ finish. He does have very good punch placement on those hooks.

    They’re going very slow with Davis and Carrington. Slower than they need to IMO. Espec Davis. He’s very refined already.

    Davis was fighting well, not great, but could do more. Seems like the offense was disjointed, jab could be more purposeful. Finish was good. Can't really judge his potential greatness until he gets 15-20 fights and some better fighters to test him.

    The big thing is that is he does have good timing, likely a big part in his amateur success. The flip side of that is that his style being developed for amateur leads to him fighting with an amateur mentality. He could have KOd Tienda with a lot of punches earlier, but he pushes with his punches way too often.
