Yeah, the whole premise of the fight is can Yoshino push through hell and land the lottery ticket shot. He signed up for that.

If you're not gonna let him try why even have the fight?

Nakatani is vulnerable to wide shots around the guard and volume punching, which is what Yoshino does well.

    Very accurate from Stevenson

Yoshino had no variety though. He had the same stance coming forward all night. It was target practise for Stevenson.

    Frame
    Neutralise
    Attack
    Repeat

Loma and Haney would be something different altogether.

I love Loma but he's on the way out. Shakur is the future of 135.

Sure bro. Stevenson made him miss everything. Yoshino looked decent in the 1st round until Shakur figured out his patterns. Even if you consider him limited, he's still a solid contender.

No surprise yall in here hating. That was his first fight at lw against a guy many here said would knock him out or give him hell. He's legit and nobody at 135 touching him.

Shakur against the winner of Haney vs Loma would be nice. He looked really comfortable at 135 and he may well stay in that division for awhile.

Stevenson closed as a 20-1 favorite and it showed. Yoshino was limited and it was very evident from the very beginning of the fight.

Because this fight was never about "could Yoshino's power get him the golden ticket?" This fight was about "man Shakur is so skilled, so dazzling, his **** is so massive and strong, look at him tee off on this limited opponent we scouted and handpicked...I'm sorry, 'That dared to say yes!' ( )" This was a Shakur showcase, and he showcased enough, now he needed the "mercy stoppage" from the ref.
