I think Williams forgot to honor his own KD ruling and make the tenth a 10-8. 98-92 is a simple straight-up 8-2 scorecard. Or I suppose it could be that he had a round even and did factor in the KD. :think (8-1-1 with one of Butler's 8 being the 10-8 swing...so would've been 98-93 without it...)
Decent, but I'm not exactly keen on a rematch. (A bit ugly for me...) ...and neither is Paul Butler, from the tenor of his interview. :yep Onward and upward.
Lots of camaraderie between them. I think they both just donated their "Fight of the Night" bonuses to charity.
One of the BoxNation pundits just said you can't argue with the main event as FOTN, since both Butler and Sexton seemed to want it from Round 1. Frank Buglioni answers "yeah, round 1 great, and round 11 was really great..." Round ELEVEN? Of ten, Frank?? atsch
Bunce bragging about & plugging Klitschko vs. Thompson II being on BN. Yeah, because that's a real heavyweight thriller sure to drum up viewership.
This happened to be an instance where the ref didn't completely **** up, in fact he was spot on...but when they do fumble... :-( All that responsibility on the shoulders of one person - and a person whose job should keep them too busy officiating to keep an active scorecard in their mind, at that!! The UK really needs to review that practice.
