The promoters wanted to match up Judah with Matthew Hatton but could not afford him? Theophane from Kilburn said " I think Judah's talents still there but I question his hunger and attitude to training.I'll beat him the same way I beat chop chop Corley and that was only with 9 rounds of sparring and ten days notice"
They must not be investing too much in Zab. Who can blame them? Honestly, all this talk of a Zab-Ricky fight is totally unrealistic. Zab should try and get in the mix with Bradley, Holt, Urango and Kotelnik.
Although apparently Urango might be moving up to fight Berto. I think he's as big as he can get, but if he can keep half of what he has he might be able to spark Berto. I think his frame is carrying as much as it can though, think he will be ultra slow at Welterweight, unless he finds it easier to not have to drain as much and doesn't actually get much bigger??? What do you guys think?
Ashley is a good domestic performer, a win here would be sensational! He's quite classy but makes a lot of defensive errors
at 140 Juan Urango is a force against anyone. He may not be the quickest or most technical fighter but he is huge for the weight, tough, strong, can punch and is a southpaw
Just wached a couple of his fights and i'm not particularly keen on him, nothing above domestic level. Always worth fighting Zab though, you never know with him...He should smoke Ashley with ease.
Ive only seen Ashley fight once.I thought he was very good, they said hed been over to the states for a while learning in gyms over there.I hope he does well against Juddah.
