Adil walked though Prize Fighter quite easy last night and looked good doing so, he has some wried footwork but it works and he looks hard to read, he can mix it a little and has decent pop on him too, how would he fair vs Theophane for the British title.?

I think Anwar would have to box a bit better then last night technically, I could see Theophane looking to counter the flick jab with counter right.

I think Anwar could trouble him and win but judges sitting through 12 rounds of that may give close rounds to Ashley. It's not a style that is liked and in close bouts will go against him with certain judges.

Anwar i think would need to revert back to style in normal bouts where he holds feet a little more.

Anwar had great movement but to me didn't look to have much pop at all.

Didn't watch Priefighter but i know of Anwar, decent operator, not good enough to beat Theophane.

Should something go wrong with amir khans career you can bet your money who's the next future p4p great darni will be supporting on ESB
    p.s.
ashley theophane would beat him easily without question he's a more superior technician and has way better fundamentals ,

  7. I think it's a 50-50 fight.

Anwar would have to go for it a bit more, not many fighters have the ''sparring partner'' style mastered better than Theophane.

Apply pressure and take less shots to the head than Murphy. Do that and you won't be far off come the championship rounds.

i think he'd probably beat anyone out there at domestic level besides theophane, i honestly believe he has a better shot against mccloskey then theophane(altough it would be a truely **** fight to watch)
he actually did hurt and rock nurse and watson up, the problem is he didn't commit and was content with piling the points. in his last fight against flinn he put him down a couple of times before getting the stoppage, i'm not saying the kids a worldbeater, but at domestic level you'd be stupid if you think you could walk through his shots

I say Theophane because Adil looked to be quite tired by the end. I think he can match Theophane for talent and maybe skills but not sure if he can go 12 hard roudns like Theophane can.

theopane knows too much for anwar having sparred all over the states - i think he'd work out anwar within a few rounds and coast to a decision win.

anyway, i expect anwar will be back at welterweight and he's supposed to be fighting lee purdey next which could be a pretty tough fight for him

He is yet to fight in a full 12 rounder, but has fought 10 rounders 3x stopping one in the 10th rd and one in the 8th rd.

I don't see him having fitness problem, have heard he keeps in shape and trains really hard.

Yeah but when you are actually facing guys with a pulse its going to be hard doing what he does over the distance. Nothing about him is economical. He's very awkward initially but you're going to get people that are smart enough to note what his strengths are, and what his very likely weaknesses are going to be.
