I'm responding to you specifically because you are talking about my input in this debate. If you don't want me to respond then do not touch upon the point I make. There is no other reason for me to respond. You are the one saying I picked the worst winning performance of Lewis. I didn't. I picked the best points win he has. Vs the best points win Frazier has.

If you have "no interest" or "don't want to get involved" why not back off? Don't talk about my input then.

Yes you agreed with me and expect Frazier to look better. Well done.

No because I think anything they can do Lewis does better, including jabbing, uppercutting left-hooking and firing the right cross over. I think he has comparable handspeed too! Add his physical advantages to this and I see no case for them.

You expect Thomas and Witherspoon to beat Bonavena and Quarry by stoppage? Can you explain what this is based on?

You are entitled to this opinion. I just want to know what it's based on. Whitherspoon beating Page? Thomas beating weaver?

    How so?

I said possibly. Both Thomas and Witherspoon easily outbox Oscar and both have the power to drop him ,Ellis and Folley did it! Both could be rather laid back but if they went for it I think they can get him out of there after a few rounds of softening him up with the jab. Both men have the potential to stop Quarry on a tko because of cuts. Both had good chins too good for Quarry to crack imo, and he can't jab with them either.
At no point have I said they beat Quarry, only that it is possible and I never mentioned them stopping him. Please don't spin my posts, you have enough to do spinning your own.

No, much to your disappointment I am not spinning anything. I just want to know where Thomas stops Bonavena. I'm happy to accept a plausible explanation. But I have not heard a plausible explanation. Thomas stopped Weaver and Tillis. I don't think that was unique at all. Stylistically I don't recal Thomas overcoming a relentless character like Bonavena. Witherspoon too. I'm just interested in the explanations behind such a theory.

To be honest its late and I really don't care much what you want, I 'd interact with those who seem worthwhile but with you its the same old thing over and over ad nauseum. You don't really give a f*ck what I think, you already know my opinion of your input ,and I don't feel inclined to elaborate further. Maybe I'll be feeling more charitable tomorrow but I somehow doubt it.Time for bed.

If you quote me, directly, with an essay, you can probably expect a response, as any adult knows.

These two things are not mutually exclusive; anyone can work this very simple fact out. I even took the time to offer a more reasonable response; no reply..

When someone like me agrees with someone like you, you say "thank you", not "well done."

    Fair enough.
I thought Mercer showed how a durable, determined heavyweight with jab and strength can give Lewis an even fight. Witherspoon and Thomas were top dogs back in 1983-'84, better than Mercer.
Lewis was quite a bit more consistent career-wise, of course.

I don't have Witherspoon KOING him I'd bet on Lewis to beat him. I stated I could see a possibility of Witherspoon knocking him out I meant in the fashion which Rahman and McCall knocked him out.. Likely Lewis beats Witherspoon no doubt..
