Aside from the odds, what was arguably the greatest mismatch in heavyweight boxing history?

Dempsey-Carpentier, Carp earned a legit shot but he never would have beat Dempsey
    Jeffries-Finnegan
    Johnson-Ketchel
    Louis-Roper

At least Brian London fought for the heavyweight title before, in May 1959, being stopped by Floyd Patterson in round 11.

London said in an interview his biggest regret was not trying v Ali because he was scared of getting hurt, everybody around him was telling him how overmatched he was and how dangerous Ali was, he did a no mas technically.

It sure appeared that way, the way he fought on August 6 1966, just 3 rounds, Good Post.

George Foreman vs Michael Moorer is the biggest mismatch in boxing history.....Michael Moorer should be ashamed of himself.....he knew there was only one way he could lose ...and he knew watch punch Foreman was looking for

George Foreman vs Joe King Roman in Sept 1973, punched Roman into oblivion. And if only we knew, Mike Tyson vs James Buster Douglas, Feb 11 1990, Douglas was a huge underdog going into that match, the money the people in Las Vegas won that bet for Douglas that night. Fight was televised live on HBO.

Ali also fought Jean-Pierre Coopman, the legendary Lion of Flanders... Evidently he was spotted at the bar hours before the fight.

Bert Cooper vs that street fighter. Pretty sure the guy had never been in the ring before.
