Things must be getting tight for Campas if he has to travel to Finland for a beating.
Its time for this great warrior to hang up the gloves

It was a questionable TKO...Asikainen was cut by a accidental headbutt in round 1. The fight was dead even after 6 rounds with Campas coming on strong. Then in round 7, Campas lunged into a straight right, took a left hook, then stumbled a bit back against the ropes but immediately raised his hands to protect himself but the ref would have already waved off the bout.

Asikainen's defence looks gettin worse since the rematch with Sylvester...

Can you imagine what most inside of Campas head look like?????

Watching him against Tito makes me cringe??

Watching him against Vargas straight up makes me dizzy?

And watching him against De La Hoya I can't even imagine why he still is alive?

So how is he still walking along with hundred other fights.??

i fear that campas ends up like jerry quarry. yory boy has taken more beatings than gatti, his licence should be revoked on the grounds of his health.

If that's the fight at the bottom of this page - it looks like an OK stoppage to me. He was against the ropes and not throwing back - so that's that.

Edited: Just watched it again - same results.

To think that Campas was once 56-0. . . why did he have to go to court to get his title shot against Trinidad anyway?

Good stoppage, because Campas WAS NOT lifting his hands. He had 10 seconds to do it, and couldn´t get those damn hands up. He was a sitting duck there, he had no legs and looked shallow. Cut the crap, if it hadn´t been stopped, Yory Boy would have suffered a total KO loss and that is to be avoided, when the betterness between fighters is already solved.

Campas is still good, but since he never was good enough for the very top, he should call it quits. Journeymen he´ll still beat, but what are they worth. Asikainen was a mismatch to him, because he has good one-punch power and good footwork and boxing fundamentals... and he only needed to rock Campas once. Duddy he could still whip around the ring, he has no fighting brain.
