Appears a short notice fight against Goldenboy prospect Robert Guerrero. June 12 in California. http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=67437&cat=boxer
Guerrero is past the prospect stage I reckon..he is a former champ..The man can seriously hit but can also be hit. Jackson will start the outsider but a really live chance of winning this.
****, I forgot he has won a title already. lol. Above prospect status for sure. Asiku aint winning this one. Dulog almost squeeked a win out the other night over 4 rds, losing a sd. Asiku gassed in the last rd although I did hear that the whole Christian camp had been sick with the flu. I think he has a suss chin. Olartes dropped him. I've seen him rocked a few times. St Clair is fighting for $ only these days so i don't put too much stock in that win. Guerrero looks to be too much for him.
I'll vouch for that flu, I was at the gym the week before and it laid me on my arse for 3 days, was the worst I've ever had.
I heard this about Jackson Asiku potentially fighting Robert Guerrero last week. Guerrero is tentatively locked in for a August 22nd HBO BAD card, so should it all go terribly wrong who knows what opportunities would open for Jackson with the upset.
