Ok guy...you obviously are tense while sparring (I am assuming tht you are doing your roadwork daily and you are in boxing shape), when you are tight inside the ropes, you body will tend to use far more oxygen than when you are relax...it is imperative to relax, and do not tight up...breath in and out slowly and concentrate on your opponent, relax relax relax, you get hit, well it is part of the game relax

Great question...actually both...a good cold shower is good to shock the muscle after a hard workout, specially if you are sore....a cold shower will "expand" the muscle...folow up with a good warm shower will ease the relax the muscle....

What is a good interval / sprint program for boxing? I'm running 3 miles 3 times a week now, but I want to try something new.

I'm back, call it a long break. Orishaman thanks for keeping the thread running.

Mods please sticky the thread again thank you, now let's get down to business. I'm gonna read the most recent posts and answer or give my opinion on some, after that I'll just continue the thread as if I never left.;)
