Ok, I'm here to field any questions for the next 1/2 hour or so. Guys I'd take advantage of this when its offered, I have alot of boxing knowledge to offer you clowns :good
We KNOW Bute is not chinny. It was the question we were all asking before the Bika fight. Bika hit him with some solid shots flush on the chin...didn't buzz Bute at all. Then, there was Berrio...he hits very hard...certainly one of the Top 3 hardest hitters in the division. He hit Bute hard on a number of occasions...he was fine. Bute has been awarded a very solid chin status by the chincheckers! I don't know much about Gennady Golovkin, but I think he might be a star in the making. Here's a thread about him: http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?p=716891
China_hand_Joe, fighting which two fighters from 168-175 would cement/ enhance Joe Calzaghe's legacy most, in 2008, in the eyes of the very best, most knowledgeable and objective analysts?
These are the best defensive fighters that I've seen watching live or from footage (for the purpose of this question, I will not use fighters from before I was born). Pernell Whitaker Floyd Mayweather, Jr. Wilfred Benitez Nicolino Locche James Toney Honorable mentions go out to Bernard Hopkins and Roy Jones Jr
Thanks. Never heard of Locche, must check him out.:good AchillestheGreat, what are your toughts on Michael Watson and Howard Eastman? Do you feel they could of achieved a lot more had Watson not been tragically injured and Eastman had put more effort in?
Actually seen (not including older greats like Ali, Locche and Pep...that I have only seen on vids).... 1- Pernell Whitaker 2- Wilfredo Benitez 3- Bernard Hopkins 4- Roy Jones Jr 5- Floyd Mayweather Jr. Honorable Mention - James Toney, Winky Wright, Ivan Calderon, Chris Byrd, Corey Spinks, etc. Just off the top of my head....
