David Hayes Ringstar promotions have won the purse bid for the British Cruiserweight Title. Was meant to happen in Edinburgh last October but Askin withdrew through injury. Should be a good night of boxing and for a chance for Haye to get his prospects out. How do you see the fight going?
Good fight, glad it's on, shame for both fighters it' takin place nowhere near their own fanbases. The atmosphere will suit Askins style more as the York Hall can be like a bear but and if it's like that more chance of Simmons being reckless and fighting toe to toe. If he he does he loses, but if he shows maturity and works at a high intensity behind a firing jab he wins. That's what I think will happen. Simmons p4p has one if the best engines in British boxing and one if the best jabs, so tali g that into account he's underachieved in his pro career. Nice lad and talented one who has been improving of late and I can see him winning and fighting for a euro title inside the next 12 months.

Gut feeling is Askin but I have underestimated Simmons before. Might change my mind after studying the fight but for now Askin (probably by TKO)
