Asking Michelangelo to paint using only one colour. Incredibly limiting for the artist but the representation would still be worth a fortune. Any other examples?

    What a terrible analogy lol.
Malignaggi said it best in that it is like putting a great hockey player against a great golfer in golf. The hockey player hits a similar sized object with a similar motion to golf so of course they must be great at golf too and have a fighting chance against the best golfer ever.

An unbelievably horrible comparison from a understandably insecure boxing fanatic. You'll have to do a lot better than that.

For the millionth time... This fight isn't interesting regardless of which sport it's in. McGregor destroys MMA and Mayweather destroys him in boxing. Only under mixed boxing/mma rules would it be remotely interesting.

    It's a ridiculous fight.

The way you strike in MMA is totally different to boxing because of what you're allowed to use and how you're allowed to defend.

Now if McGregor became a full time boxer and worked his way up within a few fights (like Vitali did) then that's something else.

I prefer, throwing a lion into a shark tank. They are both apex predators, both top of their respective food chains, but almost entirely dependent on the environment in which their encounter happens.

    Hello friends.
I wouldn't mind seeing this fight because if Conor gets knocked out its a win for me and if Mayweather gets battered it's also a win for me.
    Peace, love, and light.

The true fans want Conor to fight Khabib-Ferguson winner. The casual fans who don't know sheeeet want to watch Conor-Floyd in boxing.

Would you watch McGregor vs Mayweather?

Anyways you're wrong. The true fans want McGregor to leave MMA and take his diva antics with him. Khabib vs Ferguson is the new LW champ. Aldo vs Holloway is the new FW champ. Everyone knows where everyone stands.

(Well apart from Bisping but that's a different thread)

I would rather watch Conor fight the Khabib-Ferguson winner without a doubt. Would you rather watch him fight Floyd ?

I just said I'd rather him leave MMA altogether.

His personality is too big for the sport imo
