Yes it is bad for you. It attacks the central nervous system. Do some research on line I'm sure you'll turn up lot.
How many protein shakes are you drinking a day?

I took a protein powder with aspartame about 10 years ago...caused me to get rashes on my torso.

This type of reaction isn't common, but it is out there so beware.

Honestly no.. it's not as bad as everyone is cracking it up to be. However it is a ***** if you're dieting to lose weight, it will make you hungry.

i have researched this **** in depth. My wife used it for ten years (against my wishes) and she now has neurological probs. She was in bad shape but she has been off of it for 7 years and is much better! She still has slight tremors but much less severe

After I consume synthetic sweetners my immune system seems to go haywire. I get dark and puffy circles around my eyes and I sneeze like crazy. I avoid the ****.

Unless your a Diabetic your probbly off useing sugar as a sweetener.
Honey is also a good choice in hot foods like oatmeal and also in tea.
I don't realy drink soft-drinks (sometimes I do) but I stay away from diet ones because of the artificial sweetners.
