Assassin to fight for title in october

    Confirmed today that Mcallister is fighting on the 23rd Oct in Aberdeen, at the AECC.
    Either a defence of the commonwealth belt or for another title?
    Hopefully theres a host of fighters lining up for this, big venue, commonwealth belt up for grabs maybe - not to be sniffed at!
    Would be good to see an exciting fight in Aberdeen with a full house at the AECC.

    ill be there. I went to the last one at the Ballroom and taht was a great atmosphere but imagine the AECC would be mental

    Yeah always a great atmosphere when he fights at home, would just be great if its an opponent that increases the excitement, maybe another scottish fighter or more of a household name.
    any ideas?

    you could add limond to those names hes only been beaten twice by world champions.people tend to forget that!

    I'd love to see him facing Limond. I'd take Limond to edge a points decision in a good scrap.

    I imagine it will be a joint show with his own granite city promotions and tommy gilmour`s.

    Limmond would be a great fight too, as long as the WBU belt stays far away from aberdeen!
    Cant help thinking its gonna be McArthur though, following what has been said prior to the commonwealth fight.

    McArthur would be decent too.

    Was it McArthur who trashed Zander Diamonds car a while back?

    McArthur must have been gutted bearing in mind Diamonds a modern day Davie Dodds.

    Ohbrando if its a bigger fight Gilmour normally is the sole promoter, Lee normally just promotes his own smaller fights

    get aaa or limond up to sunnydeen so lee can put up or shut up . think lee could beat both to be honest if the real assassin turns up lets wait and see

    It's a Friday and a title defense so it will likely be on Sky's FFN. The promoter would be Matchroom as it's their tv contract but in association with Tommy Gilmour.
