Personally from a trainers point of view its actually harder training a lad you havnt had all the way through. Not that i need to defend Billy Nelson by any means but my point is, Kris Hughes -cracking amateur made for the game tall long good point scorer. The skill of a top trainer is converting him now into a proffesional style which is unfortunatly a world of difference. Kris Hughes 8-0 and has had some decent opponents.
Ricky Burns- When the was first match mentioned with Gomez i was doing cartwheels because i thought he was made for mike. However i was basing this on the early Ricky Burns. I snook ringside to watch the Yakubu fight, as i knew there was a chance we could be fighting him soon, and my opinion drastically changed. Burns was sitting down on his shots throwing more combinations and most importantly looked confident in himself. That to me shows the work of his trainer.

I dont think the question is a valied one, does Freddie Roach not get credit for improving Amir Khan because he hasnt been with him all the way through.

Limond has the beating of McCallister I reckon and I don't even think it will be close. I watched Limond put on a brilliant boxing exhibition against Martin Watson and even if it wasn't the same Martin Watson that fought Steve Murray and got robbed against Lee Meager, it was still very impressive.
I wasn't impressed with McCallister against Murray however. He seemed to fall to peices after 5 rounds and his defense was non existant. Limond would beat him Barrera vs Naz style.

The British Boxing board of control should order this fight as an eliminator as neither men should be waisting any time.

no it dosent he landed a good shot on a fighter we dont know could take a shot, he could have been glass chinned. lee lacks power FACT. He just landed a great timed shot and i did think the guy could have continued he was just a stupid ****er staying down then leaping up.

i like Lee and would support him but he lacks power, i told him it to his face and he agreed.

Just cause you obviously are in love with Lee, he aint Mike Tyson

I take McAllister in this fight, if it goes ahead, the longer it takes, the more i take McAllister.

I wont mention the Murray fight, oh i did.......Lee M lost that fight, he did.

    Why ?

As mentioned, ok well not specifically, workrate.

Limond, sound and solid boxer and its REALLY ****ing strange why he isnt in the "mix" more, someone mentioned this also, so to speak.

Limonds getting stretched regarding time wise, i hope not, honest decent fighter and no pish talk but its like AAA without the promoter !!!

Least Limond got a Khan fight and well........:bbb

Im thinking not only of McAllisters last win, be it a " taxi driver/add a name/25-0-0 from "over there" etc etc "

I can only go on paper, i aint a coach/trainer etc.

I reckon Hughes would give McAllister fits before Limond does.

Yes i wanna see these fights too.

    :thumbsup
