Yeah, I couldnt believe how the Collins family didnt get any compensation money for what happened. The NY commission completely neglected their duty of care to ensure that the rules were being upheld, so they need to take their share of the blame.

Panama Lewis should have been completely exiled from the boxing community, it is a disgrace that to this day he is still making a living out of boxing after all of the **** that he has caused.

Why will no one answer where we can watch it?

Sounds very interesting. Can someone please direct us to a link, or at least tell us where it is being shown (cinema, TV, whatever)?

    Thanks.

Yeah, it was absolutely tragic. To see Lewis completely dismiss glove tampering and loading the wraps time and time again on camera, in spite of the evidence, as well as virtually trying to pay Resto off during the program by saying things like 'I will help you' to me shows his guilt.

What got me most was the paradox between Resto and Lewis at present: Resto is a guy who was and is genuinely sorry for the actions that were ultimately forced on him that night through Lewis' corrupt dealings and had been living with the repercussions in secret for 24 years at the time of filming. On the other hand, Lewis is still thriving and making good money from the sport without so much as a hint of guilt detectable, from my viewpoint, as a viewer.

An extremely sad series of events that I now have a completely new, unbiased perspective on. It's nice to see that Resto has perhaps finally been given a platform, through the documentary, to lay it all to rest once and for all. A fantastic watch, ultimately, for all of the wrong reasons.

    RIP, Collins.

The fact that Resto's gloves had over 1lb of horsehair removed. It was used as evidence in court to send Lewis to jail as well as Resto. To add to that, we all knew about Pryor having the 'mixed' water but I never knew Resto did as well.

At the end of the documentary, Resto finally spilled the beans and admitted everything, the water bottom, the wraps, the gloves........

Just watched it as well. 10/10. Superb documentary. I feel Resto is a victim in the Panama search for money (taking money for every interview) hes too money involved and has no limit on what he will do to get it. He has Resto under the thumb and is bad for boxing. How he can still work with a zab judah is unreal as well. Resto knowing something was up would have continued if he was winning his first title belt it seemed can't hate him for that.

If Lewis would cheat for that level of fight, fringe world class, then you'd have to think he's done it in world title fights.

Did you watch it, Gaz? Like I said, I have held a very biased opinion on the incident for ages and I've completely changed my mind in one hour. For Lewis the win wasn't about the glory (even though it was fake glory)- he was involved with some drug dealer who bet a lot of money on Resto to win. Lewis knew he had to force the win and you know the rest.

I am glad you got sorted, we should all be getting this on our TV screens and I am sure if Setanta had still been on air they would have had this on their channel for us.

I'm going to watch it tonight (I was hoping to catch it last night), thats why I don't really want to 'stick my neck out' too far beforehand, I know broadly what happened but I'll be interested in how Resto comes accross and the details you've mentioned behind the scenes.
