This was not easy to score. This fight is a judges nightmare. Two slow jab cross fighters who set similar paces and are not to different.

Round 1 to 4 are all close as neither guy establishes a dominant advantage or hurts or outworks the other. Similar pace similar strategy. Neither guy has got going yet or has done too much. You can say 4-0 or 3-1 or 2-2 for either guy and I wouldn't argue with you even rounds would not be a shock here.

Round 5 Froch very easily landing big left hooks strong right hands

Round 6 Kessler just to me out worked him jabs a good left hook some rights Kesslers round but no picnic

Round 7 another close one both guys doing about the same

Youtube kinda crapped out during the round but what I will say is it was a good fight as I predicted as their similar styles meshed well. It was undoubtedly closes at this point whether one of them dominated after I dont know. I thought this was the best match up of the Super 6 Froch or Kessler Abraham would be good too or Allan Green vs Froch

Conclusion-Both men fought well. Kessler still has some stuff to tweak his defense could use a little help he also has a hard time hitting guys who duck and lean all Froch did was back up and Kessler would be outta range and just miss he is not very good at cutting off the ring I liked his jab and cross he also landed good left hooks he seems to be a few steps from where he was but I like his chances still but he needs to continue to work and improve

Froch-I have no illusions about this guy he is an unorthodox wide swinging hands down fighter I wont say sloppy or bad cause it works for him I will say his double jab and left hook are very good i also like the right he is quicker than he gets credit for and counters well he is fun to watch but his limitations may be his undoing

For the future- Ward beats Green in 12-Hope Bute and Steiglitz unify

plus i can agree with boxing fanatics score as well i said 1-4 were all swing rounds and 6 and 7 were the only obvious i'd agree on that score either fighter could have that margin at 7 rounds

I disagree. For example, I thought Froch was hitting air with within the first 2 rounds while Kessler jabbed at his face good. Froch seems to get his timing and stuff better for the next 3 rounds. Then Kessler takes a good hold on the next few rounds.

I think round 11 was tough to score. I think my brother had that one for Froch. Round 9 seems to have a diverse of opinions on.

    115-113 Froch

The thing is: There is NOT a lot of debate... it is the same 5-6 people out of hundreds here that keep making threads.

They make a thread just to find that everyone thinks they are twats who cannot score a fight.

And then they make another one.

They are beyond reach - so just leave them be.

The fight was not controversial in the slightest. The poll here showed than 92% procent saw the fight for Kessler. These few twats don't but who cares. The is no fight that everyone agrees on - and this is actually an unusually high agreement that the best man won.

Anyone that didnt have Kessler winning rounds 6,7,8 or blind. The 3 rounds that were hard for me to score was rounds 2,9,and 11. A close match but I still have Kessler winning

I for one did think it was a close fight, but i missed some of the middle rounds... so i can only go by some of the first few rounds which imo saw Froch give away some of them early with kessler landing some good boy work as well, and then it being closely and hotly contested down the stretch... great fight.

i remember one announcer saying he had froch winning by one round, so its not just people on esb that think Froch won. Tarver had kessler in a close one i believe.

anyways, Froch is the one that puts it the best to be honest... its always going to be close on the elite level, and when things are close as they are it often becomes subjective, and that is the truth. Ill have to rewatch and rescore this fight all the way through and with a better version then the one i watched, but it doesnt really matter to me, both fighters did good and did themselves proud and it was a good fight, i think bickering over who won such a hotly contested fight takes away from the good show these two warriors put forth, Froch HIMSELF took it like a man and stated it could have gone eather way even though he felt he did enough.

    Class fighters.

Of course on a totally unrelated topic I would advice you to search PharaoDK's profile on youtube :good

I think a lot of people scoring the fight for Froch were impressed by hard shots that looked impressive, but landed on the gloves a lot.

Dude, something is seriously wrong with you. Stop crying or call you mom if you want to cry any further, but stop looking like a snotty 2 year old in here. You are embarrasing.
