Well I knew he was from Márquez fights, but not too much from this one; for a fight with 5 KDs and a come from behind KO, I wasn't too gripped. The boxing from Gonzalez early on was beautiful, and very fun to watch but when Izzy started doing well it was an ugly, gropingly grotesque affair. I would be lying if I said that I wasn't in awe of the resilience he showed in getting up twice to best the **** outta Jhonny.

    Round 1
Immediate pressure from Izzy, Oscar boxing at range, squaring up to land a nice couple of uppercuts. That work completely erased by a left hook from Izzy which drops Oscar on the seat of pants. Oscar upping that workrate, probably trying to crawl back the round from the KD. Even so, good action here. Vásquez still stalking, moving in with arcing left hooks and the occasional looper of a cross. Oscar's works seems to mostly wide, glancing blows, not surgical enough from him. Vicious uppercut from Izzy, swiftly retaliated from Oscar with a huge combination, starting and punctuated with looping right hand. Vásquez looking economical here, working some nice movement and some excellent short left hooks and right uppercuts, moving all at once like a well-oiled machine. More flurries and combos from Oscar before Vásquez snaps back with a lovely 1-2 that landed as flush as can be, right on the button.

    Vásquez KO1

This was wicked! Brilliant action immediately, shame Vásquez put such an abrupt end to it.

    Round 1
Izzy bursting out with bad intentions here, vicious combination here to get a KD in the first 30 seconds, Larios up on shaky legs. Then he shakes it off, and goes back to boxing. Moving well, popping his jab and making sure that Vásquez doesn't get the preferred range for his menacing shots. For a brief moment he paused and traded again, before tasting a left hook and getting back on his bike, probably thinking something along the lines of: "OUCH". I can see a 10-9, maybe. Not imo though.

    Vásquez 10-8.

    Round 2
Larios boxing now, moving well off the balls of his feet but fighting tentatively. Nice steady jab from Larios, Vásquez stalking, slowly approaching his man. Oscar starting to mix things up again before getting nailed with an overhand and whipped downstairs with a left. Back to boxing again. Same old, same old.

    Larios 10-9, clear.

    Round 3
It starts with Oscar bouncing again, moving left, then right, whilst working with a nice jab. Vásquez getting creative here, pressuring and landing from strange angles. Cutting the ring off, too. Whilst Oscar was caught up against the ropes, Izzy landed multiple sharp shots that definitely worsened the cut. It wasn't that bad though, and truth be told was a pretty pathetic cuts stoppage, love the respect between the two though.

    Vásquez TKO3(19-18 TOS)

    Round 1: Larios 10-9

Oscar coming out, moving elegantly to the left, working a steady jab and slamming it in Izzy's face. The sheer quantity of jabs giving the ever stalking Vásquez opportunities for an overhand... He landed the biggest punch of the round early on, Óscar seemingly fine with it, strange given the results of 1&3. Larios mixing it up at range here, some nice counter uppercuts and brilliant parrying from him here. Too much workrate from Larios for Vásquez to have won this one imo.

You ride with our crew, homie, you good.

If the board's elite is the nWo (which means I'm obviously Scott Hall, calling it, non-negotiable - @CST80 you can be Hogan or Nash, take your pick :deal:) you're at least a solid ...Buff Bagwell.

(MVC, for reference, would be David Flair)
