    Round 1: Gamboa 10-9, clear.

Gamboa gauging the distance to begin with, stepping forth and back, looking to create openings. Whenever Salido came in he simply shot a hook his way, and started to time his cross. His Rigo-esc tendancy to plan his punches in the air before throwing them is highly irritating. When Salido got close enough to throw combos, Gamboa sat tight behind his high-guard and twisted his elbows into each body shot.

    Round 2: Gamboa 10-9, clear.

Still boxing beautifully. Gamboa just picking Salido apart at range, he's too quick! Whenever Salido got near he simply backed off, turned and kept moving. Whenever Salido got brave, he'd flurry and keep going. Nothing Siri could do vs the Cuban All-Star.

    Round 3: Gamboa 10-9, close.

More action in this one. Lots of speedy combinations from Gamboa but not much landing, Salido's underrated cagey defence made sure of that. That said, Gamboa made sure that Salido didn't land anything either, despite trying. Gamboa's footwork was excellent.

    Round 4: Gamboa 10-9, close.

Gamboa out-classing Salido here. Siri can't keep up with the Gamboa's freakish athleticsm and kept eating left hooks, jabs and long range rights. He couldn't even crowd properly as the artillery was too great. Yuriorkis was getting so arrogant at this point he wasn't even working behind a high-guard. Just with his hands down.

    Gamboa 40-36

    Round 5: Gamboa, close.

Much better from Salido. He came alive here, attacking like a Pitbull. Crowding and getting inside, his spirited efforts were at a loss though. As Gamboa picked up his own offence and flurried often, going hard in the inside and keeping himself safe. Salido starting adjusting his timing and landing more but not enough.

    Round 6: Gamboa 10-9, close

Amazing round to watch. Gamboa abandoned his out-boxing and just standing in the pocket, hands down countering and flurrying. Obviously, doing that with Salido is gonna get you tagged, and it did repeatedly. That's why this one is close but Siri didn't win it, he just wasn't landing anywhere near as much.

    Round 7: Gamboa 10-9, clear.

Gamboa on offence from the get-go, flurries galore then he backs off, resets and boxes Salido's ass off. Awesome sequence. Gamboa moves in to attack again and Salido calls upon his 'veteran tactics', blatantly hitting Gamboa low and the red splits them. But he gives Gamboa a warning? FOH. Siri roughing it up and working downstairs, effectively. Gamboa making him look like a caveman with his movement and counters, though.

    Round 8: Salido 10-9, clear.

Yes, Salido scored a KD, while getting lit up by an eager Gamboa, who would then change tactics and still dominate the rest of the round. Aside from that single blow, you can't show me another 5 seconds that Gamboa lost. Ergo, 1 point round.

    Gamboa 79-73

    Round 9: Gamboa 10-9, clear.

This is a schooling. Gamboa out-classing Salido, in all areas.

    Round 10: Gamboa 10-9, clear.

This was such a comprehensive tooling, it could be a 2 pointer. Gamboa made him miss, made him pay and forced him about the ring, hitting him with every punch in the book. In fact, he made Siri miss so bad, he fell over.

    Round 11: Gamboa 10-9, clear.

    Round 12: Gamboa 8-7, clear.

Interesting one to score. Gamboa coming out like a ball of fire, getting a flash KD. Pressing his advantage, he forced Siri back and beat him to the floor with a lengthy combination, of which some of the blows hit Siri behind the head and whilst he was down, causing a 2 point, point deduction.

Had it 117-107 Gamboa. A very clear win and an amazing showcase of just how good a prime Gamboa was. Shame he had the durability of a sickly child.

"Salido tested positive for the steroid nandrolone after the fight. However, Salido had a follow-up blood test the day after at LabCorp, a nationally recognized blood lab, and the findings were negative of any steroids. It's important to clarify that the substance nandrolone naturally appears in the human body when it is subjected to demanding workouts. Until today it's unknown, why Salido didn't get back the belt after the 2nd. test came negative."

    Round 1: Salido 10-9, close.

Ineffective battle of the leads to kick off, both nullifying their own use, and the other's. The Ghost coming out and immediately throwing rabbit punches, Siri responds with low blows... It's gonna be this type of fight? I'm good with that. Salido starts working the body and landing his straight right whilst Guerrero looks for his jab, needlessly.

    Round 2: Salido 10:9, clear.

Salido making his experience on the inside count, his dirty fighting coming out on top vs The Ghost's rabbit punches. Siri smothered well inside, and landing more shots but Guerrero landed a huge left uppercut. That was the biggest shot in the round until Siri landed an eye-catching left hook to finish off a round he was handedly winning anyway.

    Round 3: Salido 10-9, close.
    Round 4: Salido 10-9, swing.

Razor thin round here, I give Siri the nod since his straight right pierced Guerrero's guard and snapped his head back. However, The Ghost countered nicely. The majority of the round was fought up close.

    Round 5: Salido 10-9, clear.

Slippery Salido showing some slickness, spectacularly slipping shots, somewhat similar (I deserve a medal for that sibilance :D) to Hank's Bob and Weave, just not as good. Aside from that he went to work pretty viciously on the Ghost's body, and didn't take much in return. Dominant round.

    Round 6: Saldio 10-9, clear.
    Round 7: Salido 10-9, close.

Really close round, fought up-close. Salido's erratic bob and weave let him counter and use wider angles to the body, but Guerrero upped his work rate and landed cleaner. Close one.

    Round 8: Salido 10-9, clear.

Awesome round. Salido coming out and jabbing, moving back whilst Guerrero led. Salido's jab fell short often and Guerrero bare hugged him, looking to work a short, powerless uppercut but also neutralise Siri. The Ghost kept the pressure on whilst Siri boxed cutely; to no avail. Salido, back against the ropes, threw short, hooks and uppercuts but also mixing it some right hands, looping or others. The end was close, Guerrero kept pouring pressure on but not with much success. As both traded hooks, neither landed due to the other's head-movement until Siri landed a hard left hook to the body. Then the bell rang.

    Salido 80-72

    Round 9: Salido 10-9, close.
    Round 10: Salido 10-9, close.
    Round: 11: Salido 10-9, close.
    Round 12: Guerrero 10-9, close.

Yeah... I got lazy. Put up and shut up.

Fun fight, clear winner, though. Salido has some nice, underrated skills. His versatility is genuinely really good. That said, if you give the close (well, swing) rounds like the one marked and maybe the first, you could get a 117-111 card but as is. I had it 119-109 for Siri.

This was the undercard to Mayweather vs Baldomir and is why Guerrero got the fight with Mayweather a few years later. Of course, to hype the Mayweather fight the powers that be had to first get Guerrero ranked pound for pound, which shows you just how corrupt that **** is. But it looks good on Salido's record going 4/6 against future pound for pounders. Very underrated skills and quite the spoiler. I thought he was coming back and going to overwhelm Mikey Garcia when the fight got stopped. Nearly went 5/6. Course, you can't tell the Lomachenko fanboys that.

Round 1: Márquez 10-9, close. Neither man giving an inch, but Márquez was more accurate in a classic feeler-out round.

Round 2: Márquez 10-9, clear. Not giving opportunities to Siri, who he countered silly and out-manoeuvred, clearly. Siri lunging in at the last moment, but slipping and taking a nasty headbutt clean.

Round 3: Márquez 10-9, close. Neither landing much.

Round 4: Márquez 10-9, clear. Neither landed much at all again, Márquez jabbing more and keeping Siri off him, fighting a different fight to normal.

Round 5: Márquez 10-9, clear. Márquez baiting Siri into leading now, going to the body early. Juanma also picking his man off with a heavy jab and walking Siri onto counters.

Round 6: Márquez 10-9, close. Márquez still boxing at length, still picking counters and flurrying at times. Salido closing the gap and starting to land a little.

    Juanma 60-54

IB, this ain't the classic I was promised.
