.....I can't see him doing well against Charlo, Tim or Liam.

He's going to have a rough road ahead of him.

Should stick to Chris Algieri types and fat Lightweights. Maybe go after somebody who got his face literally broken by a much larger man.

Yes a man who had a detached retina which is a career ender and all his teeth blown out in a car crash and has drained himself for years to make 147 is going to move up to 154 to fight bigger dangerous men for little to no money after a career high payday.

No. He is retiring. I hope to god that his health doesn't get worse with age. He already is a touch slurry.

That was a career ending kind of beating, at least at the elite level.

If he rematches Crawford then his career might be over before it even starts at 154. If he takes a couple of fight at 154 before going in with the top guys he might salvage his career.

It's different when u fight someone who can actually move n hit hard as well instead of bringing up faded lower weight guys into the ring

He'd have been much better off had the fight been stopped a couple rounds earlier, or at least prior to the 3rd knockdown. I understand why his corner let it continue, but the last couple rounds were an old school hiding.

Thought the same thing, I was wondering if his corner should have thrown in the towel after the 7th. Anyway I made money on Bud winning and doing it in under 10 rounds. On another note, I can't believe people would want to see a rematch of this slaughter.

He's a very physical fighter who uses his size much like Taylor at 140 used his size vs smaller men, but unlike Taylor he has more craft and nuisance to his game in how he manipulates his opponent on the inside, there's skill there not just size, I wouldn't write him off at 154, simply because 154 isn't exactly laden with amazing talent.

But I question how his chin would hold up vs these bigger men. He's never going to be an elusive type, he will get hit and have to take hard shots with his style, It depends if not draining himself as much to make the weight improves his durability, much like when Cotto moved up from 140 to 147, he went from being a guy who looked chinny to having a pretty damn good chin.

I know people are writing him off after such a one sided drubbing but there's nobody at 154 even remotely as good as Bud.

He's done. Put a fork in him.

Next time we see him, he'll likely be getting KO'ed in the 2nd round by a lesser talent than Crawford.

I think he will take another payday and beating at 54 with Crawford rematch then retire
