Assuming Fury beats Johsua, what else would Fury need to do to cement his legacy as a top 25 ATG?

  1. That would do it alone

  2. Beating AJ plus 2 more title defenses vs top ten rated opponents, one loss would be okay

Unify and rule for the next 5-8 years.

Furys issues were partly by not being appreciated and loved by the public

He has that now. I think that's why he is so happy and back training already

Fury has a lot of things but longevity is not among them.

Not a big fan of Fury or HW boxing in general, but he is likely knocking on top 30 level as is today (although I don’t really rate fighters till they are retired for 3-5 years). My guess is that alone (beating Joshua- which I would pick the opposite outcome), would put him into solid contention for top 25. Just a guess as I have not evaluated him in that light prior to this thread

Rule for the next 5-8 years? What top 15-25 great has done that? That makes a lock for top 15 and likely knocking in top 6-9 range

I say that mainly due to the fact, as a heavyweight, Fury loses the option to become a multi-division champ. Beating Joshua and given the level of opposition he has faced so far, in my opinion, does not make Fury an ATG.
