I love this fight. Two fast southpaws. Would power be the difference? Valero was a beast both boxing and brawling and Loma has superior quickness.

    Who wins?

Valero had one legit win on his resume. That was Vincente Mosquera, and that was a fight towards the middle of his career if I recall. Outside of that he has a resume full of cans. I never thought Valero was all that. His claim to fame is allegedly giving old De La Hoya a black eye in sparring. When I watch Valero fights, I don't see the speed everyone talks about either. His power was a little over rated as well, but if you fight that kind of resume, it makes everyone look like a power puncher.

I'd take Lomachenko to win a decision, easy.

Valero could box too. I think he kos Loma late. Loma would be under tremendous pressure the WHOLE fight! I don't think that Loma can' stand up to Valero's power the whole fight.

    Lomachenko TKO 3.
Valero had awful defense, awful footwork, he didn't have the style to bother Lomachenko at all. He would have became very frustrated against someone as defensively sound as Lomachenko who never stands in front of his opponent statically. He was predominantly a head hunter, terrible idea against Lomachenko.
He was slow, no head movement.
Valero wasn't a one punch KO artist either so I can't say he has a punchers chance.
His telegraphed attacks would have been easy for Lomachenko to be able to time.

Velero By Ko Loma has only face one real puncher ,which is his only loss.

Yet the punching power of Salido had zero to do with the win, it was the pressure and the fouling.

Valero via late stoppage. People obviously haven't seen Valero enough. An absolute brute.

Valero always reminded me as a younger version of Pacquaio. Good speed, great power and a very aggressive style. Loma would be able to outbox Valero to a win, but not without passing through the danger zone. I see it going 1 of 2 ways. A Valero knockout, or a Loma UD.
