If he wins a title or 2 at 135 should he be p4p top 10?

Come on Flower.I know you don't like when it gets nasty but you seem to have no problem accusing someone of ducking when you know **** all about it.Some of the mosyt hardcore Broner fans on this forum accept that it wasn't a duck,so since you like it all reserved and polite yet basically call someone a coward, let's see what you've got.:bbb
You'l never beat me on this one,and you're bang out of order.

Yeah mate.Welcome your common sense here.:good
I'm a million miles from picking Ricky to beat Broner and you're one of the ones that know it Cellz, but if he(Broner) doesn't take it seriously and is blowing hard the way he was from the fourth last night he'd have a much harder night than many think.
I'm in no doubt about Broner's ability, but he seems a bad attitude waiting to happen, but he'll be heading for 140 fairly rapidly I expect.
All this ducking **** gets on my tits though, especially when it's blatantly obvious the poster knows **** all about the matter. Why would you go in with potentially the best prospect in the game when you know it's killing you to make weight? Billy Nelson had a huge say in what went on because Ricky's a bit like Khan in that his heart can sometimes lead him in the wrong direction.
Did you think he looked up to much Cellz? Thought Escobedo looked beat from the first bell.
That chick must have a big tolerance for Broner's **** though. That was funny as ****.
I always thought the black chicks didn't take **** like that!:rofl

Burns didn't duck Broner, when you can't make weight you move up not stay.

He has fought against 2 career light weights and didn't look undersized and this because he was a big super featherweight.

Broner will rule at 135 as long as Gamboa doesn't move up....it's 50/50 with Gamboa vs Broner but no one else at 135 stands a chance. Vazquez might last distance, Burns get KTFO'd, Demarco gets KTFO'd, Abril gets beat by wide UD......Broner will be the face of boxing within 3 years unless he fights and loses to gamboa which is possible.

He should immediately target Marquez at 140. After he stops Marquez his paydays would triple.

tbh, i completely understand Burns moving up and while it technically may be considered a "duck" i know it wasnt. if u cant make the weight, u cant make the weight. Broner is living proof . yes, i would favor Broner but Burns is a tough S.o.b from what i have seen out of his last fight. i think broners power might get him a late KO especially since burns like to get drawn in wars and get careless at times ;).

and yeah, that post fight interview was hilarious :rofl. his girl looked mad as hell. all of her girlfriends are probably laughing @ her. i bet she flipped out on him in the locker room.

Broner keeps him pimp hand strong. Whata G :yep

I really don't know if I want Broner to do well, I hope he doesn't chase Abril because I could see that ending in a similar way to the Rios fight, I believe Vazquez would outbox him and I wouldn't dare predict what would happen with him vs Burns, Burns like Broner is also rather large and does have a very good jab, I see that as a whoever is fighting at home wins fight. I don't know enough about DeMarco to comment on him.

I do however hope he doesn't jump straight into a title shot, as none of the champions are below world level, but like someone else said earlier I can see his Lightweight stage being awfully short, talking 2-3 fights so he might just go straight in.

And unless Gamboa has a glass jaw Broner would not beat him.

Very rarely you and I disagree RTB but I think Ricky would be a much tougher fight than many seem to think. Can't see anything but a Broner win,but he'd have to work a lot harder than he has had to in a while to get it.Ricky would make him come forward and he's very comfortable on the back foot.He also has one of the most underrated jabs in boxing.Even though Ricky was at a much lower level when I used to train at the same gym,he's always had an absolute rapier of a jab and it's only got better.I've seen some OK level fighters training(Paul Weir being about the next highest) and I've never seen a jab in the flesh like Burns'.
He's a thinking boxer mate, albeit with a lower level of talent, but if Broner came in heavy or not in peak condition,he'd have a hellish night with Ricky.

Part of the reason I've warmed to Bad Chad is because it takes big balls to go in against a real top 5 P4P'r at a weight you've never really fought at,but that's the exception.Would Ward agree to meet Floyd at say 157? And would anyone complain if he said no?
I know it's not quite the same but we need to look at levels here.Broner is a genuine superstar in the making, whilst Ricky was written off and came from nowhere to become a real overachiever.Billy Nelson was right to say he wasn't fighting a huge talent like Broner when he'd been struggling at the weight for a long long time.
If there's any nonsense at 135,then all bets are off and it's a duck, but so far it hasn't happened.I know you know that mate so not addressing this to you.:good
