When someone's refusing to budge on someone being nothing but a bum, sensible arguments like that will hold no water mate. His resume of late has been good but when held up to a 22 year old with an HBO deal, you'll never convince anyone of anything different.
    Good post though.:yep

That's definitely a better, and more difficult fight for Broner, but on pure principle I want to see him get Burns first. :yep

Same here. For whatever reason, I just want to see him wreck Burns.:yep

But of course, since Broner is moving up, now all of the LW's are bums.

I never realized how wide open the Lightweight division is...
    Take your pick Broner.

But who is the WBO champ?
(Pretty sure Buffer announced Adrien is now ranked #1 by that ORG)

No more holding that belt hostage in Scotland. Burns either gonna GET DOWN, or LAY DOWN, and if he LAYS DOWN, he'll STAY DOWN.

I think Fortuna, DeMarco and Linares would give him good fights.

The rest of the division is fairly barron.

Broner/Abril would be an absolutely horrific fight in terms of excitement. Boring as ****.

Do you think if Broner is not willing to travel to the UK to fight Burns then Broner would be the one ducking?

Or is Burns ducking if he won't travel to the USA?

Please put him in with Marquez asap.
That has Kostya Tszyu - Judah written all over it.

I don't think either one will be able to duck this time. They will be forced to settle on a location, or it will go to purse bid. Being as how it was assumed Ricky would have to come to the U.S. for the SFW bout, I imagine it will be the same this time(US TV $$$).

I think it will be in the USA aswell my point was he is criticising one fighter for only fighting in his home country and not the other.

fortuna, that would be an amazing fight between 2 talented fighters. fortuna leaves himself open when he counters wildly. but, broner potshots like he did against ponce, so, this fight could be interesting, indeed.

whoever can offer most money, the other would be ducking.

but like dwight said, it'll be purse vid this time so they'll have to fight if broner presses the issue. whoever wins purse bid, ****** or golden boy, will get to stage it where they choose, and burns being the champion, will get the larger percentage of the purse.

I know that, Burns isn't that big of a name even in the UK so it will be in the USA. But for who he has fought so far Katsidis, Moses and Martinez they probably made more coming to the UK than they would have otherwise. Mitchell is a bigger name than Burns but since Burns is the champ I think it is fair to have the fight in Scotland rather than England.
