    Since the Cotto fight in 2009...he has not faced any other ww champion or a top ww period,why is this???..only other on who comes close is Clottey and he was coming off of a loss...........why has he not faced any other ww champ?

    Mosley was arguably still considered a top WW the time he fought Pacquiao, mainly due to the fact that the WW division is not that rich in talent.

    Beating Bradley (twice unified at the division below, and no stranger to WW) at WW is arguably better than anything else available to Pacquiao at that point in time other than Mayweather.

    Mosley had lost and received a draw with Sergio Mora when he fought Manny and hadnt won in 2 years

    Continue reading the rest of the sentence.

    The contenders and champions were either not ready for that type of bout, or just didn't want it. Mosley was still considered a top contender for that fact alone.

    this doesn't make sense. back in 2009, after pacquiao knocked hatton in two, floyd was retired. he came back and specifically picked marquez who was coming from LW at the time to fight him at catch at WW. aslo if pac chose mosley, he would not have fought cotto. so it's still 1 WW champion.

    berto is overhyped.
    ortiz is an overhyped quitter
    mosley was shot.

    cotto was prime when pac fought him. clottey, even though he has no belt, is a better WW than both the overhyped berto and ortiz with their paper belt.

    Ortiz was a champion and wanted to fight Manny

    Mosley was ducked by team Manny-facy


    and Cotto was prime???Roach disagrees and add in a catchweight to that,still a good win
