cotto was prime at age 28 when pac fought him like it or not. clotey was a top 4/5 WW at the time when pac fought him and arguably has beaten cotto.

berto and ortiz are not even on cotto, margarito or clottey's level.

Can't even remember a Berto - Pacquiao bout being discussed, never mind Pacquiao avoiding him. :think
When did Ortiz want to fight Pacquiao? He beat Berto, then the Mayweather bout was signed. :think

So is Cotto still prime now then? If not when did his prime end?

Pacquaio's welterweight run has been good but nothing great. Its a letdown from some his the better work he did from 122-140 but considering he's small for 147 it still shows he's a great fighter to have the welterweight success he has had.

Cotto was a very nice win, the catchweight might hurt it a touch but still a very good win.

Clottey was a good win, he was a top 5 type of welterweight who had some nice results there. Good win but nothing special.

Mosley and Margarito are the fights that hurt his welterweight run, Pac could have fought one and been ok but by fighting both he drags his run at 147 down. Mosley was about shot and Margarito was clearly on the decline. These wins do nothing for Pac's credibilty.

Bradley and JMM are both top fighters but at lower weights. Their worth at 147 is sort of unknown at the moment. Pac should get some credit for these fights but how much depends on who you think won the fights and how you view Bradley and JMM as welterweights.

You can add Oscar DLH to Pac's work at 147 but, like Mosley and Margarito, he's was a pretty faded fighter and doesn't help Pac's record much if any.

Doesnt Matter Manny has done more at the higher weights than Floyd has and thats all that matters in the end, Manny fought all the fighters Floyd did not want to fight

I remember Ortiz being interviewed and he did say I've sparred with Manny. In fact, Freddie said that Victor's sparring session was the most productive one they've ever had.

If ever ortiz or berto got the opportunity to face pac, they wouldn't have fought like that ***** Clottey.

Clottey has done nothing in his career, he just a cry baby who bottles it on the big stages.
