At 147 Manny has faced only 1 current champion and that was at a catchweight

  1. Mosley beat Marg Jan09. Pac had just moved up 2 weight divisions to fight ODLH who chased Pac for the fight Dec08, and you expect him to fight Mosley?? Pac did the right thing taking his next fight at JWW against Hatton, and then taking it up a little to fight a Champion Cotto.
I do not see what peoples problems are with Pacquiao especially at the later end of the career, you work hard fight harder to get to the point where you can earn good money and then you get ridiculed for it lmao well if that is the case Fraud Willnever is the laughing stock of boxing

Who promptly disappeared and refused to talk about the fight after throwing 5 punches total.

The only title that counts is WBC.
Let's see who were the recent titleholders:

    Floyd Mayweather Jr. American November 4, 2006 – June 6, 2008
    Andre Berto American June 21, 2008 - April 16, 2011
    Victor Ortiz American April 16, 2011- September 17, 2011 0
Floyd Mayweather Jr. (2) American September 17, 2011 – present.

So you're telling me you rather had him fighting hype job Berto and sparring partner Ortiz?

    Let's look at IBF:
    2008 Antonio Margarito
    2008 Joshua Clottey
    2009 Isaac Hlatshwayo
    2009 Dejan Zavec

He fought Clottey and Margarito alright, but who the hell is Hlatshwayo? And Zavec, really?

    Let's look at WBA:
    Miguel Cotto December 2, 2006 — July 26, 2008
    Antonio Margarito – Super champion July 26, 2008 — January 24, 2009
    Yuriy Nuzhnenko – Regular Champion October 3, 2008 — April 10, 2009
    Shane Mosley – Super champion January 24, 2009 — May 22, 2010s
    Vyacheslav Senchenko – Regular Champion April 10, 2009 — April 30, 2012
    Souleymane M'Baye – Interim Champion May 28, 2010 — present
Paul Malignaggi – Regular Champion April 30, 2012 — present

So he fought Cotto, Margarito and Mosley.
Would you rather that he fought Senchenko and Malignaggi instead?
    Who the hell is M'Baye?

So if I will follow your reasoning, based on the list of recent champions, you would have Pac fighting:
Berto, Ortiz, M'Baye, Senchenko, Malignaggi, Hlatshwayo or Zavec.

    than:
Cotto, Clottey, Margarito, Mosley and JMM

    Because they were champions?

You, sir, are a ROYAL ROYAL idiot. :tired

Is it safe to say that I owned all ***** asses in this thread? :good

Want me to keep it real? Sure:

When Manny fought Cotto (Nov. 2009), the champions were:
WBC: Andre Berto (who was scheduled for a fight against Mosley)
    IBF: Isaac Hlatshwayo
WBA: Shane Mosley (who was scheduled for a fight against Berto)

When Manny fought Clottey (March 2010)
    WBC: Andre Berto
    IBF: Dejan Zavec
WBA: Shane Mosley (who fought FMJ)

When Manny fought Margarito (Nov. 2010)
    WBC: Andre Berto
    IBF: Dejan Zavec
    WBA: Vyacheslav Senchenko

When Manny fought Mosley (May 2011)
    WBC: Andre Berto
    IBF: Dejan Zavec
    WBA: Vyacheslav Senchenko

When Manny fought JMM (Nov. 2011)
WBC: Victor Ortiz (sparring partner, signed a fight against FMJ)
    IBF: Andre Berto
    WBA: Vyacheslav Senchenko

When Manny fought Bradley (June 2012)
WBC: FMJ (we all know how this went)
    IBF: Andre Berto
    WBA: Paul Malignaggi

So basically, you're telling me that he should've fought:
Berto (who has been proven a hype job and a cheat), Zevac, Hlatshwayo, Senchenko, Ortiz, Malignaggi

    Instead of fighting:
Cotto, Clottey, Margarito, Mosley, JMM and Bradley

(I can give you Mosley, but still he fought the man who defeated Mosley in Cotto)

Are you like a weird fan of Berto, Senchenko and whoever the hell is Zavec because of all the "champions" you were speaking of, they were the most available?

Also, can you please change the tile of this thread to "My ass got handed to me because IDKSAB"?

I'll be waiting for your reply, Mr. Royal Idiot sir.

cotto fight is cool......but the clottey fight was pointless and so was that circu act margo fight

berto was undefeated and a champion and that fight should have been made

ortiz should have been an option as well

and jmm is a damn lightweight did you really list that fight??

bradley fight i have no issue with

but lets not act like his run at 147 was great cause it was B- at best

and why do you keep saying"sparring partner"from what i heard it was a good session...margo was oscars sparring parnter to but oscar clearly ducked him

Both Berto and Ortiz would've folded in under 6 I can assure you that, it would be silly to make the fight.

Clottey was an OK fight. He was still a live dog when they fought. We all know this only happened because the fight against FMJ didn't push through.

JMM came in heavier than Pac when they fought. He also gave Pac hell. Your argument here is invalid.

Mosley fight was a **** fight. We all know that.

Pac's career is defined by his great accomplishment on the lower weights (up to JMM 2) AND his freaking weight climbing feat, with significant wins over ODLH, Hatton, Cotto and Bradley (so sue me).

    Learn your boxing son.
