I'd take Tito to beat Martinez. Martinez is pretty sloppy for all of his talents and a puncher as accurate and powerful as Tito would catch up to him imo.

At 160, I got Martinez.. he's slick.. he's fast enough.. can counter, has power.. he's no slouch.. Tito is one of my alltime favs but the same way JMM gave Pac problems both fights is the same way I see Martinez giving Tito problems but Martinez wouldn't be afraid to walk into those lefts early on.... he kept his distance against Pavlik but against Williams, you saw what he did...

JMM was giving Pac too much respect early on and couldn't keep his shorts off the canvas... I don't think that would happen to Martinez and he would have confidence making things tougher for Tito...

Tito's great but look how Oscar gave him problems... and look how B.Hop (the bigger man, who has ring intelligence) beat him up.. Martinez is bigger and has ring intelligence.... so I got him by UD but someone could go down easily in this scrap (I think I've done this thread before:huh)

I don't know.. at 160, Pavlik might just be too big and tough for Tito... my opinion.. Tito stands a good chance.. but you'er sounding like Pavlik stands no chance... when he took apart Taylor who was fast and strong at 160

to me pavlik just has jt's number, and that might be his only achievement. even in the second fight with jt i thought that pavlik is the more physical and active fighter but clearly not as talented and not multi dimensional as jt. jt lost that second fight because he was not active enough and gun shy, but who can blame you when you've been koed to point where steve smoger doesn't even give you a chance to get up a fight. lol

I think Martinez is the kind of fighter that gave Tito problems, fast, decent power and unpredictably, what some c as sloppy I c it as athleticism. Although I voted for my man Tito if this fight could had happened my money would had been on martinez.

Styles make fights and I don't see Trinidad landing enough to slow Martinez down.

Tito would ****ing **** him. Martinez couldn't get past Margarito back in the day, and he would probably lose to him now as well, let alone Felix Trinidad.

  12. These rookies don't even remember Tito when he was at 154. He was a monster. He would run over Martinez.

There's not one opponent Martinez has beaten that wouldn't get beaten by Tito.

Martinez, for all his talent, is rather easy to hit. Tito, who was an extremely accurate puncher, would have little difficulty finding him. That doesn't bode well for Martinez. Trinidad either stops him late or connects enough to control the action and maybe put him down once or twice on his way to a unanimous decision.

I do think Martinez could potentially cause him a lot of problems with his lefty stance, but as someone else said, Martinez is pretty sloppy with his offense, he sometimes picks the wrong time to attack and leaves himself open, he's also not that hard to hit.

Some people have this perception of him as being slick, but he isn't particularly slick imo, as he gets hit quite a bit.

I guess it would come down whether Tito could change the tide of the fight with his power. That is the thing with Tito, he had fight changing power, even if he did'nt KO you, he could drop you and score KD's, get you off your game plan by hurting you.
